Element Kuala Lumpur

Check in- Attended by Feroz. Very informative staff, explain every details of my purchase. Also registered me as Marriot Bonvoy member for more benefits. Room deposit RM200. They accept cash and card. Room- Floor 50 out of 53. Interior up to my taste. Simple and straightforward function. Tap water (small tap) is filtered and drinkable. Hence, no plastic bottle prepared. Coffee/tea/sugar creamer is provided. Coffee machine, kettle, microwave, fridge also there. Bedroom- The bed is suuuper comfy! I like the pillows the most. Everything is clean and fresh. Bathroom- Looks exclusive with the marble tiles and huge landscape mirror. Bathtub can fit my height. Basic amenities are prepared as well. Hot/cold water functioning very well. View- Didnt take the skyline view and get the other side of view instead. Can see genting highlands from our room. Breakfast- Forgot to include breakfast during room booking. It was RM45 per pax. I asked the staff to charge in my room bill. Parking- Just follow the hotel P signboard. It was on another building. RM15 per stay. Can be deducted from room bill.

The only downside in the bathroom is that the tiles around the drainage is too flat. My interior designer husband kept complaining about that it should be a lil bit slope-y towards the drainage.

Exceptionally clean, great facilities, wonderful breakfast, wi fi in the room and in common areas was free and worked well. Spa was great, swimming pool is beautiful. Breakfast had so many choices. Comfortable bed, aircon worked great. Easy walk to Patronas towers. Very large room with great view. Hop off/hop on bus stop 2min walk away as well as the free Go KL bus stop.

Nothing to dislike. Some people complained about the elevators and aircon. Both were great. Free wi fi in the room and common areas worked great too. Spa prices are on the expensive side for a massage

The hotel was clean, the staff were really friendly and helpful. It’s in an excellent location (not too far from the KLCC). The breakfast was also great with a variety of choices.

Check-in at reception on 40th floor was fast, and was staff friendly and welcoming. The room on the 48th floor was large and spacious with a well stocked kitchenette and a nice comfy bed, and a fantastic view of the city centre. The breakfast was really nice and there was a good selection of food to choose from. The Element is close to Ampang Park Station (5 min walk) and a 15 min walk to Suria KLCC. If we visit KL in the future, we will stay at the Element again.

A small table with 2 chairs would be good to have in the room (there is plenty of space for it) as we had to eat our meals on the lounge.

The rest of it. Especially the breakfast. I think marriot bonvoy chain have the best breakfast at the affordable price range. Keep up the good work.

I have to pay extra RM 15 for the parking. It is for the entire stay at the hotel. It is reasonable considering the location of the hotel. But if it free then it much better.

staff was extremely helpful. we arrived before check in time after a very long flight. they gave us a temporary room to shower and rest until our room was ready. from there I was sold! our 2bd apt was very spacious, comfortable beds and big enough closets for a week. location is superb. 6min walk to the Petrona towers where you can find restaurants, shops and transportation of all sorts. Mall opens til late so we could enjoy the whole day and have dinner close by before coming back.

kitchen was small and oddly distributed but it didn't make much difference to us because we didn't cook there. it was enough for organizing a room service or delivery meal

Very nice hotel, and the staff clean/make up your room everyday! Element has its own restaurant- makes it easy to add buffet breakfast to your stay! There is also a gym and laundromat on site. The hotel is close to 3 malls- Intermark, KLCC & Avenue K. Other malls are just a short drive away from the hotel. My only gripe is the dirty air conditioner that left discolouration on the wall near the vent and someone’s old icecream left in the freezer, otherwise well maintained hotel and a good stay.

Staying at the property due to attending wedding located close by - sent my jacket to be dry cleaned before the wedding- but they were unable to return it in time as it went missing from when it was finished being cleaned. I had to attend the wedding without it. Took 24hrs before they could find it which was too late as it was returned day after the wedding ☹️ but the staff were nice about it (I did have to keep following up to see what the status was)very busy area very hard to get a grab

* Location great, 10-15 minute walk to Petrona Towers/shopping mall & park. *Room view fantastic *Breakfast great, lots of choice to cater for most cultures *staff all friendly from the breakfast staff, reception staff to lobby security *Room massive, clean & great soundproofing- as bedroom through from the lounge (lounge situated near entry door so any noise outside only heard in lounge & not in bedroom). * restaurant directly opposite highly recommended- Fuego Sky dining- not cheap but food wonderful - do need to book though in advance. *Never waited long for lifts *Bed super comfy *The biggest plus for us was check-in. we landed after a long 12 hour flight at 8am. arrived at hotel at 10am, thinking our only option would be to ask hotel to store the luggage until 3pm. My partner was unwell, & jet lagged & prospect of killing 5hours in the city was not great. Hotel Reception lady was amazing though- took our number telling us if room ready early she’d ring us. to be honest we didn’t hold much hope, but sure enough at 11am she rang! we cannot thank the hotel enough for doing this, as after an hour longer my partner was worse. This somewhat small gesture made a HUGE difference to our stay, & was greatly appreciated- THANK YOU Element Hotel 😀

Few things here, but I’m just being finicky- *No full length mirror in any room though plenty of space to put one. * no plug socket located near any mirror to dry hair so as a woman with long hair this was difficult 😂 Room a little tired & worn in places- wooden floor deeply scratched in places, & drain in shower was really tatty. * Aircon wasn’t thermostatically regulated - it was either on or off. We didn’t raise this with reception though as managed with it. Don’t let the above put you off though-we’d definitely return here if in Kuala Lumpur again.

The hotel is very nice and in a great location: 3 mins to the underground, 15 minutes on foot to the Petronas Towers and the central park with fountain. Around there are many cafes and other places of interest. The hotel itself is situated from 39 to 52 levels of the Ilham Tower (the Ilham gallery is in the same Tower, just next door). No problems with lifts, never waited longer than 3 mins. The room was comfortable with all the supplies, view to the Petronas. Note that you can see only one tower as the other is hidden by skyscrapers being constructed in front. But nevertheless the view is good. Th 39th floor has a swimming pool (rather small and in a very conditioned hall), a small gym and self-service laundry (10 myr for wash, 10 myr for dry, all was fine). Free coffee and tea at the lobby all day long.

Rather expensive breakfasts, decided to go and have breakfast outside. Misunderstanding about payment by card: via email the manager assured us that Union pay card is accepted, but at the time of check in it didn't (worked in other places in Malaysia). Was not comfortable that we had to go and withdraw money, if we knew we could have done that earlier.
