Crowne Plaza Charleston, an IHG Hotel

The location was great. I was able to walk to the outlet and get food with my kids to save gas. We liked the pool area.

My bed was loud. It was shared with a 1 year old and when I moved, he would move because of the noise. The breakfast buffet could use a couple more options that is more kid friendly.

Bed headboard and fridge seemed like they were dropped down the stairs but everything was great besides that

Location was good. Easy access to downtown Charleston. Tourist information centre a few blocks away at the Fire Museum was excellent! You can book most of your tours from that location. Buffet breakfast was very good, and the staff were pleasant and attentive. Plenty of "free" parking.

Coffee maker in the room was located on a stand that made it difficult to add the water without pulling the tray partially off the shelf.

Breakfast was great! Room was clean and bed was super soft.

Only thing is customers to wait each morning after 7am for a person to acknowledge customers wanted to order but food was fresh,hot and delicious. Would have been nice if room service replaced bed with fresh sheets. Bartender wasn’t the friendliest. Other than that if I had a choice I would stay again.

We chose this hotel for a Valentines Day getaway. The property is in a prime location, right across the street from Tanger Outlets (we could literally walk if it hadn’t been raining). The hotel staff was very friendly (with the exception of the bartender who exudes a stank attitude). The lobby itself was beautiful, perfect for photo ops. There was an on site restaurant that was just ok (limited menu items due to COVID). I had the she crab soup which I highly recommend. The room was spacious & comfy. Overall a good stay.

Literally no one practiced social distancing or proper mask wearing. There was a giant hole in the ceiling with a trash bag covering it right in front of the elevators, indicative of water coming from ... somewhere. In my room, there was some sort of paint splattered on the shower floor & wall. The ring light in the vanity did not work. Lighting was very dim.

very strong chemical smell in the room. And check in staff is not very friendly they seem irritated. Kids were running up and down our hall in slamming the doors until quite late.

Check-in and check-out was simple and hotel was easy to navigate. It had adequate parking and offered optional private for a reasonable price.

Janelle, Sweetgrass Restaurant and Porch worker, was rude when handling our order Sunday morning. I was placed on hold where I could hear the kitchen’s conversation.

The staff were the best! Initially they were going to give us a room with only a king bed, even though I had requested 2 queens through Booking.com. They worked with me on this and were able to get me a 2 queen bed room. I learned that next time, I will call them direct without going through Booking.com.

The issue with the beds request. Very uncomfortable having to deal with that when I got there.

Staff was friendly! I wish I got her name but she was working Saturday and Sunday and I saw her from 5pm - 9pm and she was nice and helpful. Plenty of parking space and Tanger Outlet is right across the street which was great! I would defenitly come back to this hotel!

If I'm really trying to find something I don't like, the elevator was slow.

I liked the area/location. I liked the hotel lobby and employees, they were very professional and nice, the lobby was exciting really didn't have to leave the hotel because the lobby had everything

I didn't care to much for the room we asked for king and we got a room with two beds.
