The location and main facilities were awesome. Loved the grounds of the main resort.

The Bungalows are across a VERY busy street. There are no indications of this in the booking process. So you don't stay on the main grounds. Had a giant rat run through our room night two...They made it right and upgraded us to the newer portion of the facilities. We like to experience different restaruants, as such we didn't take advantage of an "All Inclusive" package. While service was top notch, breakfast was just ok. Dinner at the resort is good, but one night was enough.

it is very clean and comfortable however I didn’t really meet any of the staffs but the man that escort me to the room he is pretty much nice, I didn’t get the chance to use the restaurant, bar or pool, however it was an couple trip and it ended up turn out to be business as I got busy and has to run, but I surely will be coming back soon

The ambiance was great. The location is spot on. Perfect. Scenery perfect, very ideal getaway. The food was awesome! We felt like we were on a little island. Most of the staff were polite and helpful. The pool was great. I appreciate Miss Jennifer at that front desk, very helpful.

On the low side, I was expecting a refrigerator as displayed on the online Samsara site. However, that was not the case. Some clarity is needed on the site to indicate that certain rooms are not furnished with everything. This was a big letdown because we chose that particular room package to roam the areas of Negril and return with parcels of food that we could refrigerate our cold food items, however, we were not able to do so. All-in-all we worked around it. Rooms need THOROUGH cleaning NOT JUST THE OBVIOUS PLACES. Who wants a dirty fan with cob-web blowing at them?

The rooms were large with lots of storage to unpack our cases. Great traditional Jamaican food, with the choice of basic food for the kids, like pizza. The staff were also great at putting us in contact with local businesses for excursions and activities and taxis.

Although we new the hotel was a 3 star, there was so much scope for them to raise that rating. Such as: Tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, hairdryers in the rooms, Beach towels in the rooms, Daily bottles of water in the rooms, evening activities, such as a band or quiz or bingo etc. The rooms were a little dark, due to small windows. More outside dining. More regular shuttles to the beach.

I like the fact that the manager Mr. ARIEL stepped in to meet my expectation and allowed me the privilege of a fantastic anniversary. Thanks to him one in a million time i would visit again with better knowledge of the property.

I did not like the fact that the internet showed me a total different imaginary of what I was expecting, but upon arrival changes where made to allow me a more suitable choice of what I had booked for. Also please to call and ensure guests are all comfortable to settle in before upon arrival or if they missed there check in timings.

For the price, this resort was wonderful. It has an authentic, locally owned feel to it and is not a large corporate resort experience. It’s very spacious, which can be rare for Jamaican resorts, we felt very safe, and it was calm and not at all crowded. The food was from scratch and delicious, and the staff were great. There are tons of lounge chairs available, the newer building is wonderful and air conditioning works great in the rooms. The cliff jumping and snorkeling right at the resort is so fun, and the pools are very beautiful and clean. We also really liked the opportunity to take a free shuttle to Legends at the beach, and the all inclusive includes meals and drinks at Legends. The taxi service at the resort is very convenient and we enjoyed getting to know the drivers. The taxi service can take you anywhere you want to go do a reasonable price. We really enjoyed our outing to YS falls and Black River.

We loved everything, but those used to more expensive corporate 5-star resorts may feel differently. It does not include any water sports activities. There are no snacks available in between mealtimes (but we loved the meals and didn’t even need snacks). The drinks included in the all inclusive package are not top shelf and are just ok and wine and specialty beers are not available (but we liked the drinks fine). The grounds are not pristinely maintained and are a little rough around the edges, but we thought they were absolutely lovely. The restaurant is on the second floor, is not air conditioned, and can get warm, but we enjoy the authentic atmosphere and on very warm nights they served dinner outside, which was amazing (and you can carry your food outside any time if you prefer).

The resort is on the West end of Negril and the view from our room was absolutely fabulous. The room itself was large with a big closet and adequate drawer space. The bed was very comfortable but a bit high. The staff, with exception of our maid, was friendly, welcoming and went out of the way to make sure our vacation was everything we could ask for. We did the all inclusive package which included all meals and drinks. The food was good but the selection was limited and we had beef stew and curry chicken on 2 of the 8 nights we were there. There were generally 2 entrees at each noon and evening meal. Breakfast was our favorite and we had eggs to order and a larger selection of entrees possibilities.

The liquor selection lacked top shelf liquors, which we kind of expected. Most of the liquor was from Jamaica but adequate when mixed juice or soda. The rooms lacked kleenex, bath soap and conditioner which we have at most resorts in Jamaica. The lack of pool towels is another issue but the gift shop had a large selection for $15 each--how fortunate. Aside from meals there were no snacks available during the day, not even popcorn.

Let me say that this was the BEST STAYCATION ever! I absolutely do not understand how this resort has bad reviews 🤷 Fun fact: After making the reservation on Booking.com I wanted to cancel it on so many occasions and I even started to research other resorts in the area. Whew! What a good thing I didn't. Anyway, let's get into this review. So immediately as we entered the parking lot DONOVAN came over to us, he was sooo kind! He assisted us to find a nice spot in the parking lot and quickly offered to take our suitcases over. We had barely entered the lobby when MS. CHRISTIAN gave us the heartiest welcome 🤗 She was so warm and welcoming. I was stunned again because the bad reviews were replaying in my head and at this point I was wondering if this was the same property they were speaking about. Anyways, she made our check-in process absolutely seamless! She's a sweetheart! Immediately after checking-in, we were introduced to CAROLINA, an absolute darling! She took us up to our room (deluxe sea vuz) ⛵ and briefed us a bit more about the hotel and the facilities etc. Let's talk about the room 😍 The bathroom was amazing. It was spotless and we consistently had warm water (again the reviews replayed in my head). My favourite thing, apart from the comfy beds, would have to be the closet! It was perfect for my mirror pics 🤩 I called the front desk shortly after we settled to ask for a crib. In about 10-15 mins there came our crib and this was when we met ANDY! I had an inflatable/float for my daughter which I needed to be blown up and without hesitation Andy assisted. Listen...words cannot truly express how awesome the staff at this resort is! When I needed to warm up my meals the kitchen staff assisted and they had such a pleasant demeanor. Even the guests were nice. I want to return to Samsara like today 😂😭 It's a 3-star resort with a 10-star experience. The pools were so nice and they were treated every single morning.

great views, great for swimming, overall a cool hang out spot. lots of sweet cats, buy some treats to the L &M store a block away and they'll love you.

when we first arrived they gave us a room that didn't look like the pics and it had a small and full size bed instead of a single king bed. The room was also very run down and not clean. Only after talking to Booking they finally changed us to the room we actually booked (it took a day and multiple chats to the front desk). Please specify you want a king bed if you're booking this property. Bar needs a lot of work, it looks very old and no good choices of drinks.
