Lighthouse Inn 20

I loved the jungle vibes with all the fruit tree around. I loved the mosquitoes netting over the beds. The place was clean. My stay was peaceful and quite. The staff and grounds man Narval was very accommodating. Narval helped me to get a few mangoes off the trees. I was able to get some East Indian and blackly mangoes.

Even though there was no AC, there was the ceiling fan, but I barely felt the breeze. I had to buy a standing fan. The owner should definitely have a couple standing fans for guesses. The entire time I was there the cable was not working. The staff try to fix the cable but to no avail.

This is our first visit to Jamaica. Everywhere you go, music seems to be blaring loudly. Not here. This is a peaceful, tree-filled oasis. There is no need for air conditioning. There is good airflow and a ceiling fan. The fridge was very practical. Penny, the owner, is a very nice, generous, interesting and helpful man. His staff are very nice as well. The cabins are clean, comfortable and simple. My son and I enjoyed our stay.

We arrived in the off season and it is difficult to staff the on site restaurant at this time. We needed to venture out for meals. There are decent options reasonably nearby. Our favourite was Just Natural. Definitely go there... Also, it's about a 10 minute drive to the centre hub and beach. But that's also the reason why it is peaceful. The all inclusive resorts have walled off the shoreline so you can't really access the water without jumping in a cab or going to nearby Rick's Cafe.

The owner operated place is full of charm. The photos don’t do the justice for the beauty of the house we stayed in or the beauty of the landscape. The houses doesn’t have AC in them, and they don’t need it. The way they are built allows airflow to cool them off, which you feel as soon as you walk in. If you like to sleep with the sounds of nature, and wake up with the chirping of the many tropical birds the landscape invites, this is the place for you. Owners Penny and Inga are the sweetest hosts. They take a lot of pride in their place and in the quality of their service. The food Inga cooked and the drinks Penny made were exceptional. We felt like we were around family.

I am so grateful to have found and stayed at the Lighthouse Inn 2! I absolutely love Inge and Penny and their property is one I will certainly return to. My room was so clean and comfortable and you are completely surrounded in nature… the sounds were so peaceful! Also their restaurant onsite is divine. All organic and delicious food I loved my breakfasts here each morning. I truly felt safe as a solo female traveler and could not recommend staying here enough. I did my research and for the price and location this is your place. See you again Inge and Penny! Thank you endlessly!

N/A. No breakfast was served. Restaurant on site only open in winter months. Love that it had full kitchenetter. WE bought groceries to cook breakfast, prepare lunch and have snacks. We could cook dinner if we preferred but we wanted to eat out The restaurants close by were too expensive, and closed early, so we drove to the hotel strip to eat.

The absence of daily scheduled cleaning service. Although you could ask for what you like.

Truly amazing place! I cannot say enough good things about it. Very calm, comfortable and relaxing enviornment with owners and staff that were amazing, helpful and friendly. Great location away from the noise and crowds in negril while being a short and easy taxi to the beaches/sights. Theres also lots to see and do within a very easy walk from the property. Me and my partner enjoyed every minute of our stay and cannot wait to be back!

We absolutely loved the place. It’s right in the middle of nature. The location is in the West End which is the best location for people who want to stay at a more quite and peaceful place. It’s also the best location for sunsets with Rick’s Cafe and Whoopies nearby. The hosts were very kind and friendly!

Be ready for mosquitos!

The ambiance was beautiful. The owner was very accommodating. Cabins were clean and cozy. Perfect for a romantic getaway. The location is good, very close to other amenities and the town.

The room got very humid sometimes throughout our stay. AC units would be a nice solution to solve the heat.

What an amazing place! We had a cute cottage surrounded by beautiful palms and garden with a jungle vibe. It was very peaceful and Clean. Easy to take taxi to and from to seven mile beach and other attractions. Penny, Inge and the staff were very kind, helpful, and knew area well

This place is an unbelievable hide away,it's so beautiful filled with fruit trees so much greenery fresh clean air and it is noise free.. We loooooved it there. And plan to be back very soon.
