DoubleTree by Hilton Atlantic Beach Oceanfront

Access to the beach was excellent. Although not in an oceanview room, I could still see the ocean from my room. I believe all rooms have a balcony, which lets the sea breeze in. I especially loved their warm cookie when we first checked in. The beach was beautiful, lovely, and clean. Not too packed either. The room got really cold, real quick, which I loved as my husband calls me "the ice queen" as I love the cold.

The pillows weren't as fluffy as I'm used to in various hotels, but overall it was a nice stay. In my experience, there wasn't much to complain about at all.

Location was awesome. Beautiful views. Beds were very comfortable. On site restaurant was good with a nice breakfast buffet.

The toilets should be replaced with handicapped height. They were too low and the toilet paper holder was so far away, we had to take the paper off and place it on the bathtub. The elevators need some kind of carpet, with wet, drippy people coming in off the beach, there was always puddles and sand on the hard floor, not a good combo. The building as a while is showing signs of wear and tear which is normal.

Oceanfront room was just what I needed. It was wonderful. Clean and staff were so helpful. It was close to beach and the pools were clean. I will be back next time I come this way. I have already recommended it to my friends, family and co workers. So much fun.

Food was okay. Chili cheese dogs served at Mollys were not edible to my group, cost was super high for us. Buffet at breakfast was high for no more than they had on it. Towels were available at front desk not pool area.

The room was very clean and nice. Beds were OK. View was beautiful, and we were able to sleep with the sliding door open to hear the waves. It's was worth the money and the staff were super nice.

The pillows were really bad. We went and bought our own. The bathroom needs to have a revamp. The wall paper was pealing and the caulk around the tub needs to be redone. There was so much caulk and it was dirty. The shower head is from the 80's. The Speakman brand is out dated.

The view so beautiful I woke up every day with it. I was so relaxed. The room was clean and comfortable. It did need a mirror instead of the picture. Two women sharing a room need to be able to put on their makeup without hogging the bathroom.

The restaurant in the hotel was awful. It’s served our food with boxes and plastic silverware. It the steak was paper thin and over cooked. I wouldn’t eat there if you payed me to eat there. Two people ate for 100 dollars off of plastic ware. Molly’s Bar And Grlll was excellent. The food and their service was on point.

Hot tub, both pool, the room was stocked with towels, free water bottles, I like that it had a fine dinning restaurant in a poolside bar,

ALL of the staff at Mollys were very rude, unfriendly, the could’t get anything right, they acted like they didn’t even want to be there.  I would suggest complete retraining for everyone, Customer Service should be at the top of their list, more pay to help boost morale. 

The room was clean but I had an ocean view instead of an oceanfront. For the price paid for one night and the description prior to booking read oceanfront. The staff was friendly and the food from hotel lounge was delicious. I only ordered from evening menu which was very limited with food selections.

Although, I had to wait because of arriving earlier than the checkin time referenced on my confirmation. The gentleman at the front desk left his shift early and didn’t tell the hotel associate he was working with that I was waiting on my room. I was sitting in the lobby and he saw me the entire time because I made sure to sit in eye view. The other guests that were arriving were being checked into their rooms. The only thing disliked during my visit.

i loved the location everywhere was very quiet and mainly everybody was friendly.

two things i didn’t like about the property was one of the beds sheets was not changed and you could see the stains when the light glared through them but the fixed it quickly. And they charged the wrong credit card to billing and now I’m having to deal with that head and trying to get in touch with the GM for a reversal.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Location and view were great. Excellent staff!!! Indoor and outdoor pool area and pools were clean with plenty of seating . Small play area for your kiddos is a plus. Can’t say enough about Molly’s lounge and the excellent food we had there. The Molly burger is the best burger ever. Didn’t get the name of the young fellow who took our orders, but he is so courteous and polite.

Bathroom is a little on the small side. Balcony is small with no seating (no chairs). Nice pier. Stayed here thinking we could fish from the pier, but “Absolutely no fishing from the pier at anytime.” Not sure why you would have a pier and not allow fishing.

Beach access Saw cleaning pool everyday - and wiping things down - good food and cookies were great when they were available-no clue they had them u til we saw someone but morning staff never offered or never was available- evening staff was great —-would stay again
