The hotel was very clean, basic facilities but perfect for what we needed. The hottie staff were lovely. The breakfast was continental style and had good choices. The rooms were nice and cool and we had a balcony with a lovely view of the street below. The hotel is situated in a Excellent location in a lovely street surrounded by restaurants, bars and little souvenir stores. A sort 150m walk to the beautiful lake Maggiore. The location was extremely convenient for taxi's, boat cruises, boat taxi services and the puff and billy tourist train very close by. Stresa is a beautiful place with everything you need for a long weekend. Loved it. Restaurant Lago Maggiore is well worth a visit, the staff were brilliant and the food was very good. It is very close to the hotel. Also the wine bar outside the hotel Al Buscion was perfect for a few drinks while you chat and watch the world go by.

The hotel was in a fantastic location just a two minute walk to the lake and set amongst beautiful shops bars and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful especially the lady who was on breakfast duty. The breakfast was very good and plentiful and the hotel had a restaurant next door which was very good. Our room was on the fourth floor served by a lift. We overlooked the bell tower which was stunning and woke us at 8am which we found enchanting. House keeping we’re also very good.

No negatives we found it had everything we needed.

Great location for exploring Stresa and neighbouring park val grande. Good selection at breakfast with healthy options. Free street parking in most of Stresa - not too difficult to find somewhere nearby.

Reserved a meal at the adjoining restaurant El Stornello through reception and the service was poor. Initially slow, no menus or drinks offered and then very rushed. They took away plates while we were still finishing our meal despite being asked to give us time. Food was very expensive for an average quality meal.

Very central. Unlike what other reviews said, the room was clearly somewhat renovated , had a small balcony, and the windows kept out the small amount of noise from the streets below. Would definitely stay again. Clean, friendly and good value.

The room is quite small, but perfectly acceptable for the price paid, the value was good. No parking at the hotel as it is in the town centre, but there is some parking available in adjacent streets if you can find it for free, or in another hotel nearby for a small fee.

The most convenient hotel for its "price - location" combination. Our choice for the third time in Stresa. All the essentials one needs (shower gel, kettle). Often found fully booked, so advanced planning is needed. Good coffee, cheese, salami and fresh pastry for breakfast.

Looks a bit "worn" from inside, but it was not a problem, and it's well compensated with a good breakfast. A feeling of Italy from the first door.

Very central location. The room was big enough for us and our 2 kids (3 and 7 years old). The staff was very helpful, they booked the Lago Maggiore express)trip for us. At 10PM I stopped at the desk just to have some information about the trip. They ended booking the all trip for us. By the next morning all the tickets were available at the desk. That is excellent service!

Parking is at a 10min walk. Breakfast could be a bit better.

The hotel is in the pedestrian part of the town, so the location is amazing and very close to the lake shore and where the ferry's depart for the islands. It does however mean that you can not park very close so pack wisely as you will need to carry your luggage to the hotel. Otherwise it is in a fantastic area, close to the centre square and other attractions.

Good location, ok breakfast, staff was friendly and helpful. Room was good and centralized aircon was great.

Toilet door was broked and glued, it caused noice when opened at night. Balcony was too small for two people. Breakfast coffee was bad. Noice from delivery cars very early, not hotel fault though.

position perfect close to lake and 40 restaurants. our room super clean and a very nice view partial of the lake and a perfect view of the Basilica bell🤪 Breakfast excellent

Great location in the city center. Friendly and helpful hotel staff.

Shower is very small, don’t provide enough space for a person to move around with ease. if you arrive by car, you have to find a parking space on the street, which is quite far away, or pay a considerable amount and park closer.
