Everything was perfect! The hotel is very beautiful! The restaurant have Michelin star for years and have very tasty food in normal prices! The room is very clean and nicely decorated! The breakfast is with fresh products and very tasteful! Its an experience to stay in this hotel and eat in the restaurant!

Cute, historic hotel in Rubiera which is perfectly located to explore the area between Parma and Bologna. It was about a 5 min walk to the train station so going to explore other towns was very quick and easy. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was huge with a wonderful shower. Parking was very easy. The breakfast was fantastic with many options to please a variety of tastes.

The walls were not at all soundproofed so nights when I people were in neighboring rooms were a bit noisy and when there was more noise and activity in the town square it could also all be heard in the room. It was noted ahead of time that the restaurant was closed so I was not surprised by that but I do wish I had the opportunity to dine there - a good reason to make another trip to this lovely hotel.

I picked the hotel to be perfectly honest due to their world famous restaurant. I was highly surprised about the hotel itself, steeped in history with pictures and old things everywhere. Like the old TV next to the reception, Enzo Ferrari already came here to eat and watch the telly. Rooms are spacious, quite and well equipped including Sky tv. Dinner was outstanding and will also be the reason for my return. The next day I had a fabulous breakfast and could watch the "Sfogline Arnaldine" at work, making all the fresh pasta for the day just next to me. At check out I even asked if I could see the famous 1959 Michelin guide (the first edition in Italy when stars were assigned). I'm in love

Everything was perfect

Wonderful vanished-world of 50s-60s Italy atmosphere and decorative style. The place feels like it could have been used to film some of the scenes in Fellini’s Amarcord, and is a complete delight, right down to the fabulous of-an-era bathroom fittings. Not a few of the residents look sufficiently grotesque to have played the part of extras in various others of the maestro’s oeuvre, all of which adds considerably to its charm and allure. Utterly delightful. Not to mention the intoxicating, heady aroma of ancient casks of balsamic vinegar which wafts through the upper storeys of the hotel.

Nothing worthy of comment.

Loved the beautiful way it was furnished. Had lots of character. The breakfast was amazing. The location great, markets were on the next day which was Saturday and they were set up right outside the hotel. Parking was on the street close by and we were given a parking card to put in our car. The room was comfortable and the shutters and window opened onto the street at the back of the hotel. Easy walking to bars and restaurants.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Breakfast is decent, great selection of deserts. Rooms are good and cosy, depending of the side you are there is no noise or some noise, especially those room directly above restaurant. Location is best one can have in Rubiera. I am happy, I was in this hotel for 4th time this time.

Little variation in breakfast could help. I was really looking forward to eat in the hotel restaurant, but it was fully booked for next 3-4 months. :) No single seat available. Could be nice to have at least some option for the hotel guests.

Fun to know it was a post office long ago. Great breakfast service.

Like many places in Europe, no AC working until a certain season and no bedding options. A very warm comforter for a “warm sleeper” becomes slightly uncomfortable even with windows open. A sheet and light blanket would be nice.

Excellent location above the Arnaldo Clinica Gastronomica. Easy to park, an excellent price. Bathroom of good size, even if a bit "old style". And obvioulsy the restaurant is outstanding !!!

The room is really small comparing the size of the bed. And rooms needs a renovation, quite old style

I will start with the kindness of the girl (excellent English) at the front desk that helped us check-in much earlier then normal due to the fact that we were travelling all night! The rooms were spotless clean, the hotel is full of history and vintage as we love. We had dinner in the restaurant of the hotel, the restaurant has 1 Michelin STAR awarded for many years and the expectations were high. The food was excellent and we had a big surprise from the staff. It was my daughters birthday and they sang Happy Birthday along with the entire restaurant to her with a cake and candles. I would like to thank the waitress from Cluj, she was very nice and helpful! I would like to show my appreciation to the entire staff, to the manager, to the chef, etc. They left at the reception the breakfast because we were leaving before opening hours on our departure! Defenetly recommend this location for everyone in case you want an unforgettable experience and it is really close to the Ferrari museums!

Hotel with history, which is part of its charm, with a Michelin restaurant, but with reasonable prices. The place is charming, full of antiques and pleasant corners. The breakfast is a very well-stocked buffet.
