Hotel Marco Polo Rome

First time in Rome, didn’t know what to expect with the hotel. Very pleased with what we had. Hotel staff was lovely, accommodation was perfect for what we needed. Very clean and spacious room. Breakfast was great but not included (8 euro). All in all very happy. Within 5 mins walk from the train station. Then walking distance to everything, colosseum, if you wanted a good walk you can walk to the Vatican and basically see all you want to within walking distance. Great stay R.

The Hotel Marco Polo is very comfortable. Helpful, kind, pleasant, and hospitable administrators. Special thanks to David, he was really nice and helped me with all the questions. The location is also very convenient - near the station Termini, so there wasn't any problem finding the hotel. I really liked it, I stayed here for the 1st time but obviously will come back when I have a trip to Rome. Thank you for the cleanliness, comfort, and pleasant communication. See you soon.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is very close to Termini which is very convenient. The room was very spacious and quiet. Furthermore, I liked how dark the room got during the night. Overall, I must say that this hotel offers excellent value for your money. I might book a room here again when I am in Rome.

Located a stones throw away from Roma Termini, Hotel Marco Polo is a gem of a Hotel. The staff is very welcoming especially the front desk. The room is adequate and clean. Housekeeping lady is extremely polite and courteous. She does a great Job. Would definitely recommend staying here. Breakfast was very good.

On arrival it was a little disconcerting that reception for the hotel was on the third floor, and that the main building entrance is shared, and in need of redecorating. But that first impression was overridden completely once in reception - here was all high quality, modern, freshly decorated and clean, with very friendly and helpful reception staff. The rooms themselves are clean, modern, and comfortable. The shower was a plus - spacious, with plenty of water pressure, and virtually instant hot water. The location is excellent, close to the central station, with plenty of eating options locally, and within 30-40 minutes walking distance of the the major sites such as the Coliseum if you prefer to walk rather than pick up the metro. We only had breakfast once at the hotel - typical continental buffet, but perfectly fine, and again very pleasant and friendly staff. The breakfast area is quite small, however, and consequently busy. But with a couple of family members preferring to explore for brunch we tended to skip the breakfast and explore alternatives elsewhere.

It is a perfect place, with a kind staff. The rooms are renovated and clean. The breakfast is delicious. The location is just 2 minutes from Termini central station, which makes it easy to visit all the places in Rome (by walking or by metro/bus). This hotel is a few blocks from the main train station in Rome. We were able to walk to the station with our luggage to take the train to Florence and Venice.

The shower was challenging but it did work.

Room was well priced and well located. Bed was comfortable and the room was spacious.

There was a bit of confusion with the bags at first and some of the other guests were noisy, though that's not the hotels fault.

The property is perfectly situated away from main attractions but so close to transportation. Just a short walk to train station with shopping. Very convenient to access Hop On/off bus and car rental. Room was perfect for family of 5. Room was clean.

The hotel was in a very convenient location near the train station! Tucked away on the third floor, it offered privacy. There is a lift to help with luggage. The staff was very friendly and accommodated all of our needs.
