Hotel Mimosa Pantheon

The hotel is located in the very center of the city, all major attractions are a few minutes' walk away. The staff is very friendly. the rooms are clean and tidy.

The only problem we had is that the reception staff is not present 24 hours a day, so after they left, some guests were shouting in the corridor, banging on doors, generally being very loud and behaving inappropriately (this of course has to do with arrogant guests who took advantage of the absence of staff! )

The location near Piazza Navona and the Pantheon is simply ideal, everything is within a mile by foot - from the Vatican city to the west till the Colosseum to the east. The minute you go down to the street you have dining options, bakery and coffee shops, very nice area. The staff at the reception always smiling, kind and helpful. We stayed 4 nights in a room for 4 people - it was adequate and with good value, I would recommend it to families traveling under budget.

Thin walls, you can hear noises from the other rooms. The air conditioner was not really blowing much cold air, which could be welcomed in September when the weather is still hot in Rome. Breakfast was not served due to COVID but that was known before booking. Thank god we only rented a car after the visit to Rome, it seemed like a nightmare to drive and park in the area.

The location is great. Feels very safe and secure. Key-less code entry at three points. Security cameras and desk personnel. It is across the street from a 5 star hotel so the street feels a bit up-scale. Bedding was clean and fresh. Towel service was good. Room cleaning was good. The building is old but the room felt like a typical US motel. Bathroom was fairly modern for an old building. Front desk people were friendly and helpful and spoke multiple languages including english.

AC was a little weak. It was very hot in Rome and the AC did not get the room quite cool enough. There is no Breakfast.

The property was in a very central location, but was surprisingly quiet at night. The bed was comfortable, the air-conditioner was set at 24 and this suited us perfectly. There is a lift to get to 2nd floor..great with suitcases. Staff helped with bags when lifting didn't work on our departure.

The lift didn't work on last 2 days...these things happen and can't be helped. We would have like a kettle in the room for making tea or coffee, but there is not much room for that to be done safely. I noticed a kettle in room adjacent to reception..not told if it was for guests use.

Location was perfect, staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and accommodating, room was clean and had everything we needed. Great price for the location- we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Do know this hotel is located on the "2nd" (3rd) floor, so one has to walk up stairs or take lift to get to the front desk. Was a touch confusing as we entered.

Keep in mind it is located in an older part of town, with older buildings, so the stairway, construction, layout of the bathroom, etc. is all kinda funky. Be charmed by the quirks. The only trouble we had was with the AC in one of our rooms: it wasn't able to cool the room adequately during a heat wave, but they did have someone come look at it promptly, to no avail. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

A little hard to find at first

The best thing about Hotel Mimosa has to be the staff - so friendly and helpful...just excellent. The Pantheon is literally at the end of the street, such a fantastic location, 15 min walk to the Trevi fountain, 10 mins to Piazza Navonna.....so many bars and restaurants to choose from. Felt a very safe area to walk around in the evenings due to it being so central.

The rooms were BASIC, the bedding was spotless and the bathroom was very clean as well. This would not put me off staying again though, you don't stay in Rome for the hotel experience - you go to Rome for the experience - it did not disappoint.

Location is just amazing. Hotel Mimosa is literally 3 minutes walk from Pantheon and it gives a lot of possibilities - you can easily come back just to step in for a second to a hotel and then go explore city more. Personel is very kind and helpful. My room was very small, but enough, when you need a place just to jump in and out. Hotel is placed on one of building's floors. Inside is very basic, not much modern or traditional, but it's neatly. Surely you cannot expect luxury, but you get a decent place to stay in. I will surely come back to this place.

Room doors are quite thin, so noises from the corridor are much hearable.

The property was located centrally to all the attractions. The staff were all friendly and very helpful especially Veronica. The room and the hotel were very clean. The room was very big and spacious we had the double bedroom family room. The room was very quiet at night even though it was in the centre of Rome and busy outside. The WiFi in the room was very good. We felt very safe as 2 female travellers. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel and we hope to come back.
