We've stayed before, several times. It's reasonably priced (for Rome!) and close to Termini train and Metro and Repubblica Metro. If walking's not a problem, it is in an excellent location, kind of equidistant to all the main sites - about 20-30 minutes. Of course it's such a beautiful city, that walk is a joy in itself! The 'hotel' is set out on a couple of different floors of a lovely old building and these are reached in a rickety oldy worldy lift, which we love. If you're after ultra modern, this is not for you, but it is lovely, quiet and the bathrooms are very well appointed.

It never bothers us, but coffee/tea making facilities are not in your room. They are in especially created areas. We always find them easy, convenient and often sociable to use.

Great location for tourist sites with Republica subway (train to Ottaviano station to see Vatican) and Roma Terminal less than 10 minutes walk. Most other tourist sites within a 20 minute walk. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Elia who met us at reception was polite and friendly, and gave us a great city map where he highlighted all of the tourist sites, shopping areas and restaurant locations. Great restaurants and bars near the hotel, and also some nice rooftop bars to watch the sunset. Breakfast Italian style with coffee and cornetto (pastry) very cheap !! Carrefour express close by for general groceries. Funky old cage lift to get to the 3rd floor - make sure it stops before opening the doors.

Super Hotel, the staff was very friendly, nice and helpful from the first meeting, greetings to the gentleman from the reception. The hotel itself cannot be faulted, view of the city, quiet and safe area, the rooms are great, clean, cleaned every day, the decor of the rooms too, the fridge, feel the Roman atmosphere and a great elevator, which I really liked. Minus unless the lack of a kettle or cutlery in the room, if it bothers someone, you just have to go out into the corridor where there is a kettle with which you have to share for several rooms, but it's not a big problem, although it would be better if it was in the room. And for breakfast where we had to leave the hotel for a restaurant 50 m away, a bit strange, because I saw it for the first time, and breakfast, unfortunately, was not a Swedish buffet for this price, only coffee or tea, scrambled eggs, toast or croissant where we had to wait more 20min. The location is great, close to the most important attractions of Rome, such as the Coliseum, which is less than 20 minutes away, only the Vatican, which is about 50 minutes away, is still worth a walk and visiting the beautiful surroundings of Rome along the way. If someone doesn't like walking so much, the metro station is literally 4 minutes from the hotel, as well as the main Termini station 7 minutes where you can get anywhere and back to the airport where the Terravision bus leaves every 1 hour. I honestly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Bedroom area was fine, nice size and comfortable. There was also a window that opened facing the Opera House. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants, bars and even a nice after diner walk to the Colosseum and surrounding area. The train station was 3 blocks away, which made it super easy to leave and go to surrounding cities. We took a day trip by train to Florence and that was truly amazing. We used the "hop on Hop off " bus to get around areas that were a bit further out, like the Museums, Borghase Gardens, Castel Sant'Angelo, The Vatican, ect. or just to walk around. There is also a very nice laundry service about 1- 1/2 blocks away which will clean, iron, fold and package your laundry at a very reasonable price. The Desk manager and staff were extremely nice to us and very helpful. Can't wait to return.

That there was no one on staff at the hotel at night. The bathroom shower was not that great. I am roughly 135 lbs and found the shower to be very small. The shower handle unit was very calcified around the fittings and water squirts out all over.

Location was good, very close to termini and the room was accommodating. While reception staff is not 24 hours, great instructions were sent to us via WhatsApp. We arrived early than we thought and Daniel met us on his way out. He returned inside, even though he was leaving for the day, and walked us through everything.

Beds very firm, although this was our experience in all of Italy. Shower was amazing but very tight.

Great location for getting around Rome. Located eat the main train station and metro so easy to get around. However, mainly walled as east to get to the main attractions.

The hotel is located with residential flats and therefore you do get to experience the Italian home atmosphere which travels through the hotel room walls. Having said this the rooms were clean and tidy and worked for our requirements.

Close to everything: Termini, eating, shopping, sightseeing and the Opera is across the street (was wonderful). Expect an old house to be just that and you will love it. Coffee machine just outside the rooms.

Only criticism towards the whole booking system which sends several nonsense ”inform arrival time”emails daily despite informing the arrival time at the time of booking - happens with every hotel in booking.com and is very frustrating. Even after first booking and informing a normal arrival time which is according to the hotel rules, you get another email of ”special request is approved”.

The room has a good size and is well decorated. The shower is a quite good. The location is in a safe place and is easy to walk to every tourist attraction and train station. The staff are friendly.

I liked everything. I was skeptical about the self checking at night, but it was super easy and everything runned smoothly. I would say that the breakfast, payed apart, in the bar next to the hotel, is not good and 10 euros to get a white bread with one bacon and some eggs is a robbery.

The staff are amazing, so friendly and always making you laugh. They provide a map of Rome when you check in and circle and talk through all the places to see. The location also couldn’t be more perfect, pretty area with shops and restaurants on the door step and everything within walking distance (except the Vatican which we got a taxi to, but we walked back so can be done!) room service every day so always clean and tidy too!

Room was not big but the space was very well-used. We had big windows facing the opera house which was lovely. The restroom was clean (something super important!) and the shower was amazing despite being small; mainly the water pressure that blew our minds.

We received detailed instructions on how to check in but given the time of the day we arrived (midnight), we did not figure out the elevators at first. This is not really the hotel's problem though, we just had not been in Italy in some time.
