Great choice of food for breakfast, but would prefer unsweetened croissants. Really need a car to stay at the hotel as public transport is very limited and taxis are expensive. If you want to catch a MOM bus to Bassano del Grappa, Google gives the most accurate timetable ( only one bus every 2 hours) which stops at the train station in Bassano and is an easy 10 minute walk into town and the river. Buy your tickets from the Tabaccherie for €2 one way. If you buy a ticket on the bus, they only have €4 tickets. The hotel is happy to give you phone numbers of various taxi drivers you can phone to pick you up in town, for the return trip which is normally€18-€20. Food in the hotel restaurant is excellent and you can order half sized portions if you just want a light meal. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays but the hotel provides free transport to a local restaurant, also owned by the family who own the hotel, the food at the Locanda was also excellent. The hotel is beside one of the landing fields for Paragliders so it is fun to watch them coming down from MonteGrappa and landing. The staff at the hotel are all lovely and really helpful. Monica at reception in particular and Sylvia the co owner were always happy to phone taxis or book restaurants, and were happy to accept my husbands bike being delivered by courier,before we arrived at the hotel. In the dining room Julietta, Marianna and Zorana were all delightful and really patient with us practising our Italian, as were all the waiters and waitresses. The standard of cleanliness in the hotel was exceptional, with the floors in the rooms being mopped everyday. ((If you are planning on staying at the hotel in order to do the Brevetto Challenge ( the 10 roads up the mountain of MonteGrappa) on a road bike, check that the roads are open, as at the time we stayed in June 2023 the final part of the road to the top, for 5 routes, was closed due to damage to some tunnels, so my husband was unable to complete the challenge.))

The price of bottles of wine at the hotel were on the high side, around €5 more than at other restaurants for the same wines!

Great breakfast with a juicer available to make your own juice at breakfast. The staff were extremely friendly and the overall experience was great! We will definitely stay here again. Food at the restaurant was really good and the tiramisu was 10/10!!

It was a shame that the hotel restaurant was closed on Tuesday especially considering how great the food was when we tried it the next day!

We enjoyed the spa and good bike storage with outlet for charging of electric bike.

The flattest pillow and not too comfortable of a bed. This was our third hotel during an extended bike trip and it was the most expensive. Was expecting more from the rooms.

balcony over restaurant - very noisy; extra pay for pool use - too excessive, should be included in the price of room as not cheap

fantastic location and wonderful helpful staff. very quiet rooms and great food. lovely spa down stairs too.
