It had a good location, almost at the beginning of Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Our windows were overlooking the corso, but it wasn’t noisy in the evening or at night, the insulation was good. The bed was comfortable and it was a good sized room. There was a luggage room where we could store our bags before we checked in and after we checked out. The owners seemed like lovely people, not much talkative, at least not in English. Overall our stay was good, no deal breaking complains.

The breakfast was a little bit early for our taste, and it was the same every day. There were more sweet options than salty, but not very much to choose from and mainly pastries. I believe that’s typical for Italy though. There was an unpleasant smell from the AC at times. Rather late checkin time, 16:00.

The hosts were amazing, such a lovely breakfast and whenever there were questions Morning/lunch/afternoon/evening or almost night, it never took longer than an hour to answer, mostly even immediately. They always asked for prefered breakfast time and stayed in contact. The location is super central, perfect balanced between the busy part and the amazing docks. Although people in Palermo like long evenings (also during the week) it is wonderful silent when you close your window. There is a supermarket for all-day-stuff right around the corner and also the trainstation from where you can easily visit many great places around Palermo is only 15 minutes away by feet and offer publoc transports quite cheap. I could write so much more here! Just make your own experience, you definitly won't regret it :)

The worst thing was, that the holiday in this beautiful place had to end somewhen ;) If you really need to find something negative then maybe that a second keycard would be nice when you are there as a couple, but it is nothing too important... Besides that there is not one negative word about this place i could say.

Loved this place! Perfect location and I was so excited to have a balcony overlooking the beautiful street, to watch Palermo come alive in the evening as more and more street bars and restaurants popped up. The room was lovely with a very comfy bed and a great shower. Very easy self check-in and then a delicious breakfast where we were so well looked after. I was running Foro Italico parkrun and the location was less than 10 minutes walk away.

Everything was perfect!

Small but exceptionally clean and smart modern room in a historic building. The room is right on the main street in Palermo, with a great balcony view to watch the world go by, but the soundproofing is excellent and we got a good sleep on the comfortable bed. That was a choice of fruit and cereal and yoghurts and pastries, also hard boiled eggs and coffee etc for breakfast.

We loved our stay at Persiane al Cassaro and it was everything we hoped it would be. Fantastic to have the air con, a huge bedroom, a balcony, a very comfortable bed, and all immaculately decorated and clean. Breakfast was delicious and easy and when we had to leave for the airport early on our second morning Manuela was extremely kind and helpful. Very good situation about 15 minutes walk from the station. Fantastic restaurants all around and everything including the Duomo was easy to find and walk to.

Breakfast was excellent: very good quality buffet with local products! Location was also amazing as it is located in the city center, minutes away from the cathedral, and there are loads of food and drink venues around. Service was outstanding. Manuela and Giusseppe were very kind and looked after us from day 1: from advising where to park to recommending nice local places were to it... service was really good!!! Also the premises themselves are brand new, room and toilets, proper TV, balcony

Well... The hotel's is in the heart of the down town, but it was calm... no drunk people screaming whatsoever. Quality was good comparing to the price - especially when I spoke to my friend who took some other hotel :) You can check in late night without surcharge, which is not very common in Palermo.

I didn't have warm water in the bathroom so I had to sleep without shower :( It was fixed in the morning. Breakfast... well... you can't expect too much in Italy.

efficiently run place. nice and warm in cold Feb. they kindly prepped a takeaway breakfast bag as we had to depart very early.

sound insulation not great. small spots mould in shower (otherwise very clean, so this is minor)

Communication with the hosts was super easy. The rooms was tidy and cleaned every day. Simple and delicious breakfast served by the hostess was nice. The location was superb.

The breakfast was great! The lady was very nice. This place is an excellent facility to discover Palermo by foot and also by the bus or the train. Here around in Vucceria there are many bars and good restaurants for the evening life. Recomended!!!
