Hotel Regit

This hotel is really I did not expect that the location would be so good. First of all, the value of the room is good we paid for a reasonable price and got such a good room. Secondly, the location of the hotel is perfect. It is just 5 mins aways from Mestre train station along the way they are so many restaurants. From the hotel to Venice main island is just 20 mins and the ticket is just 1.5 Euro. The bus stop is just right in front of the hotel. Remember to take bus 7, 7E or 2 they all take you to Venice !!! We are just to satisfied with the hotel.

Location. The hotel is located 2 min from the railway station to Venice, hence it is extremely easy to go back and forth to Venice. Breakfast is simple but very tasty, with fresh fruit every morning and a croissant.

The neighbourhood of the hotel is really bad, with very strange people waiting in the street at any time between the hotel and the train station. We had to do a detour to avoid them to reach the hotel from the train station.

The location at a 5-min. walking distance from the stop of the airport bus; the staff; the cleanness and comfort of my room.

Nothing

The hotel was a very quick walk from the Mestre train station and it was easy to find. We walked to dinner and later to grab a gelato. In the morning we caught an early bus to the airport. The staff we very helpful and spoke English well for all we needed. Our room fronted the road and was on the 3rd floor but we had no issues with traffic noise.

While our teenage son wanted the room cooler, we were grateful that it had air conditioning and took the edge off well for the adults. We also missed art on the walls, but found that was missing at a lot of places so it’s probably just our American expectations.

The hotel was so easy to find - literally went past it on the bus from the airport. It is really beautiful and the staff are so friendly. Were patient with me in practicing my Italian. I found the breakfast helpful on my 1st morning and the recommendation of the restaurant opposite. It was really peaceful even though close to main transport areas. They were also kind enough to put me in the disabled access room and the shower was amazing! There was also a fridge in the room. Useful I would definitely stay here again because it felt like a little nest and was just so peaceful. I felt really blessed.

The only criticism I have is that the double bed was 2 single beds put together and as someone who likes to sleep in the middle of the bed, it was a bit uncomfortable. But thankfully the beds were of the same height so it didnt matter too much. You also get sheets instead of duvet but it was plenty warm enough for January. The AC system is a bit weird too but they are happy to help

Really close to the train and bus station. staff were helpful and even offered breakfast at 7 if we left early, and allowed early checkin. The room was just what we needed for the night when we were spending the day in Venice and leaving the next day by bus.

on the left side of the road as you walked to the hotel, there is a homeless possibly drug dealing area that was covered in urine and rubbish. No one bothered us the two times we walked through but I was self conscious and it was dirty. I didn’t feel unsafe in the hotel at all. The right side of the road was absolutely fine. The pillows were extremely firm and there was only one each with one spare. We didnt ask for another as we were so tired and got back late.

Charming old fashioned rooms. Proximity to the train/bus stop. Within 15 minutes after leaving the room you are in Venice Everyday room service and change of towels Value for the price Warm room with a good heating Contrary to the reviews the area was not shady, at no point I felt unsafe

Mattress was not the most comfortable one After the booking i learned we need to pay extra 15 euro for having two separate beds, which has shown as an available option on Booking. This was an unpleasant suprise and should be described prior to the booking

Our stay at Hotel Regit was great! The staff was very friendly and helped us with any question we had. The room and bathroom were clean and the room looks good overall. The hotel is very close (a big plus) to the train station and we took the train every day to Venice. It’s pretty much a 10 minutes train ride to Venice and the trains are coming very often. We read other reviews that the area would be dangerous but we didn’t feel that way at all. Indeed, on the left side of the alley behind some kind of fence, there are some people to avoid, but we always went on the right side of the road, which was empty and lighted, and also, on that side were some restaurants (Restaurant Pizza E Riso highly recommend). So don’t worry about the area, it’s not dangerous. We are very content with our stay at this hotel

In a heatwave in July there was a very efficient 24 hour air conditioning system. The Hotel was near Cinema Dante a very good take away kebab pizzeria and grocery across the road. Very good for the railway station and the Bus Station to return to Marco Polo. The room service was excellent with bed made daily and fresh towels.

The Internet connection was a franchise system that required complex refresh on every visit.

The location is close to the train station. There is a very good restaurant within a short walking distance called da Michele.

To utilize wifi, a code would be given for a day or more depending on your length of stay. Many times I had to re-enter the code to use the wifi so I had to make sure I kept the paper with the code on it or take a photo of it.
