The staff are wonderful, super helpful and friendly. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the vaporetto and local restaurants. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of breads, cheeses, croissants, cakes, cerels, breads, fruits, and more. The room was clean and well presented, with a great view over venice. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning was a blessing. Absolutely fantastic hotel and wonderful people. Highly recommended!!!

Would have loved tea and coffee making facilities in the room, however, was able to have free tea and coffee from reception whenever we wanted, which we were so grateful for.

the location is excellent. based on the lido you have stunning views of Venice. The hotel was a bargain in early May, and we weren’t expecting much. we used it as a base and even spent a couple of our days at the beach and looking at the shops as the island has a lovely buzz. hotel wise. comfortable, welcoming. the staff were superb.

when you book in to a bargain hotel you don’t expect 5 star hotels but , as with all things Venetian, the hotel was traditional and beautiful in its own way.

I like the location at the Lido vaporetto Station. Easy to get to Venice and and the nice bars and cafes of the central viale and off it are there. It can be quieter and more relaxing than bits of Venice. Boat to abd and from the airport and from the bus station. It is a pleasant building and the rooms have views. Staff very welcoming and helpful and breakfast was good though they don't do hot stuff but not something to worry about.

I have no criticisms. I have wondered for years what it was like and found out. Good old fashioned Alberto.

The Swedish buffet style breakfast was good and with fresh products. The coffee was very good. The location of the hotel is excellent, right next to the boat mooring (which is the only way of connection and a bit too expensive... in fact, all of Venice is very expensive...).

In the bathroom of the room located in the attic, you cannot wash properly because the ceiling is too low. You can't stand up or hang the shower to have your hands free.

Staff were so friendly, helpful & welcoming. Perfect location right opposite main Lido vaporetto station (you can see the hotel from the boat!). 10 min walk from hotel down main street to beach. Our attic room had view over lagoon to St Marco Sq and it was perfect for family of 4. Buffet breakfast was great start to the day and catered well for the kids. Lovely first floor roof terrace too. It’s a stylish art deco place with a relaxed vibe & I got the feeling there were a few repeat guests.

There was a jacuzzi bath in our attic room with a shower attachment - not ideal for proper shower but we enjoyed the bath!

Slightly aggravating to be advised upon arrival that I needed to change rooms after one night on only a two night stay, apparently the result of a booking error. Rooms 108 & 109 adjoining the terrace could be noisy in the evening but I was there in a heatwave so everyone sheltered in air-conditioned rooms.

Good helpful staff. Very convenient for the ferries—just in front of the hotel. Parking at the hotel—we were lucky there are only 3 spaces. Convenient power points for appliances—phones, computers. TV all Italian. Breakfast was Ok but not special.

Hidden cost of getting car over by ferry. No bath. Fridge didn't work. No coffee in the room. Internet really bad to non-existent. Need to get ferry-boat to get to the main attractions.

Fantastic location right by the public ferry boat pier - allows you to hop around Venice and the lagoon with fantastic ease. The hotel is also very close to the pedestrian zone of the Lido where the restaurants and bars are located. The hotel itself is very well kept, the rooms are to a very high standard and impeccably clean. The rooms are spacious with great views across the lagoon to the centre of Venice. Seems like the place underwent a complete rebuild only a couple of years ago. But what stood out the most was how friendly the staff and especially the owner were. The owner was extremely cordial, had some excellent suggestions for restaurants, sights etc. and helped us plan our day trips with great success. I should also mention that he invited us for an aperitif whilst we waited for our room to be ready (which was made available to us more than 2hrs before the usual check in time) which we thought was a very nice gesture. An absolutely perfect host. In summary, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly come back

Nothing we didn’t like

The location is fantastic: just a few steps off the ferry that arrives to Lido. The staff was also incredibly helpful and friendly. All and all, a good hotel.

The room was unfortunately underwhelming: it was very small. There was no writing desk (I had hoped to work a bit). We took one look at the breakfast and decided to skip it (not much choice, mainly sweet things).

Fabulous location-right across from vaporetto stop with beautiful views across to Venice. Close to bars, restaurants and shops and short walk to beach and pool. Lovely roof top terrace and beautiful breakfast room with fantastic outlook .Breakfasts were excellent -great selection.
