All the staff were fantastic, we felt very welcome and well taken care of. The location was great with wonderful views over Tuscany. There is a bar next door serving great gelato and a small shop two doors down selling lovely local produce. In addition to the hotel restaurant , there is another restaurant and a pizzeria within 1 minutes walk. The room was a good size, with a lovely big terrace. The pool area had an incredible view. The pool was also a good temperature and clean - plenty of seating/loungers and large umbrella's available. The breakfasts were excellent - a good selection of local and fresh produce, plus great coffee. There was an outdoor bar on site, open in the evenings, with great views - fabulous for an aperitivo before dinner. The restaurant - well, we spent 12 days in Italy. This hotel's restaurant served some of the best food we had on this trip (the bistecca and the pork fillet in a rose jus), and one of the best dishes I've had anywhere (the pasta stuffed with beef and served with a beef and red fruit jus and a pecorino cream)! Additionally, the wine list was vast!

The bed was quite uncomfortable, I could feel the springs. And the terrace chairs weren't comfortable if sitting out for a long time. Generally the cleanliness was good, but there were a couple of areas which had been missed (under the lip of the glass desk and behind the bathroom door). The bathroom was quite tired with some broken fixtures (but we still felt it was good value).

Lovely hotel with real nice pool area, stunning view and good breakfast. Pool bar is great, employees are really friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay a lot. God a nice room with balcony.

We had a room with a stucking entrance door that was heavy to move and loud as well as it grinds on the floor all the time when opening. In bathroom the little bin was defect, easy to switch instead of trying to „fix“ it by laying the lid on the bin over and over again. Missing plugs in bathroom sink(s) are not helpful when try to shave. Somehow some tiles in the bathroom have splashes of whit paint on it. Easy to clean as well.

Location and view is outstanding! Rachele is an amazing host. So warm and welcoming! On top of your every need, and more. She is the 4th genereation in her familiy to run the hotel, and the place is just so perfectly unformel but still professially run. Pool and pool area is super! View out of this world. And the bar can procide you with ice cold beers, snacks etc. Stefano makes the most amazing food!! Do not cheat yourself of that experience! It is a homemade and local version of Michelin quality, and as a bonus price is great! The view from the restaurant makes you lost for words. All in all Bellavista was so much more than we could have hoped for, and we plan to return in the future!

Nothing not to love

Very friendly welcoming and helpful staff. Rachele took great interest in showing us things to do in the area. Particularly enjoyed visit to local vineyard that she recommended. Food in restaurant was good. Great pool area, but bit of a climb up numerous steps to get there. Great views from some rooms, restaurant and pool area.

Unfortunately a group of Swiss school kids were disruptive for part of our time, causing hassle to staff and residents alike. Parking at times across the road was awkward.

Fantastic hotel and location. This is the real Tuscany, with real genuine people. No tourist trap in San Baronto. Rachele the owner provides fantastic service and care for the guests. Great location for exploring the region, and great hotel for recharging after a day of exploring. We loved the pool overlooking the region. Hotel serves excellent food and wine at reasonable prices. Fantastic atmosphere right in the center of San Baronto.

Breakfast was delicious and tailored to all taste buds be it sweet or salty and was accompanied by a freshly made coffee of your choice! The location was exceptional in the mountains of San Baranto with beautiful views all around, that were especially lovely as you relaxed by the pool overlooking the valley below. The host Rachele was extraordinary going above and beyond to cater your needs and very forthcoming with information to make the most out of your stay by seeing everything San Baranto and the regions around it has to offer.

Breathtaking view from the swimming pool where you can rest peacefully. The staff is really nice and caring, answered to all our wishes and gave advice even though they were really overwhelmed. Restaurant and bar on the spot. Free parking and wifi. This family-owned hotel is a treasure box, an unpolished diamond. If you stay in Tuscany this is your place.

The hotel could use some modernization like air conditioning, fridge in the room and new mattresses. The breakfast and dinner options are quite limited.

Great location with fantastic views over the valley. Good quality and tasty food in the summer restaurant. Good restaurants across the road. Close to Florence and Pisa by car. Good quality toiletries

The mattress needs to be changed and the headboard needs to be fixed to the wall. I would have preferred a room with a better position considering I booked a Superior room.

Everything! Could not have asked for a more perfect place! We had 2 days in Italy and my husband found this jewel. could not have found it if we tried. Had gluten free pasta. Rachell was amazing and staff great. Loved the Sunday evening live music. Had the whole pool to ourselves on Monday. Her husband is the chef and ravioli my husband had were a twist on a family recipe.

Arriving in San Baronto the place was difficult to find - a tiny wooden sign on the side of the road gave away this gem. We stayed at Bellavista for a week and it was lovely. Rachele, one of the owners, was enthusiastic and helpful. You can have a great dinner on their rooftop terrace, you can even see the sunset. The pool is amazing, it was cleaned every day and the views are perfect. The breakfast was great, everyday we were asked if we wanted a sweet or salty breakfast but we could have both too. San Baronto is a cool town too, cute village with a couple of restaurants. The café right underneath the B&B has the best pie ever! Oh and parking is free throughout the whole town. The only downside we could find was that it could be little noisy. The rooms are close to the bar and restaurant and the music plays loud and late. Also the rooms seemed to have thin walls, neighbors can be heard quite good. All and all we had a really nice stay! Would recommend for the Tuscany area.
