Beautiful hotel, spacious room, very clean. Little fridge in room for water is helpful. Aircon works well. Need a bus from the train station if taking public transport. Definitely take a walk into La Spezia centre where the museums are, we only saw this on our last day and would have loved more time there. Some nice restaurants within Walking distance. The hotel has vending machines with snacks and drinks. Tiffany Cafe is a close walk with lovely coffee and pastries, we didn't dine in but breakfast is available. Receptionist was lovely and helpful.

A kettle in our room would have been lovely but our family in another room had 1. Pillows were a bit uncomfortable.

We liked the cleanness and the location, close to bus stops and 25 mins walking from the train station. We used it as a base for our Portovenere trekking vacation and the bus from Portovenere to go back to the hotel dropped us very close to it. The guys at the reception were all very nice. They made us use the shared bathroom one last time before our departure which I thought it was very nice.

They asked us 5 euro to store the bags (5 euro per bag) for some hours the day of the departure, I have travelled for the past 10 years in many places around the world and this is the first time they charge me for storage of bags.

We were happy with the hotel location in La Spezia, a 15-20 minute walk from the central station, a few minutes from multiple restaurants downtown, and also just a few minutes walk from the harbor. It was perfect to have a grocery store just around the corner since there was no breakfast available at the hotel. Very good that there was a small fridge in the room. We also liked the art feature of the hotel, with paintings in the room and various art in the reception. Very friendly staff.

The cleaning of the floor in the room could have been better, but I guess it was a bit of a challenge at the moment because there was refurbishing work being done on the exterior of the building, which probably caused dust and particles entering as soon as the window was open. Unfortunately there was something wrong with the hair dryer in our room, so it only operated for about 10 seconds before shutting off for a couple of minutes.

The area was very quiet at night time. We really enjoyed the feel of the place. The lady at the reception was very nice and helpful. We had a pleasant check in. The property was very close to local cafes, bakeries, grocery store and laundromats which was incredibly useful.

The coffee machine didn’t make good coffee; we would have much targeted a kettle and cups to make our own coffee. The bathroom didn’t really have any exhaust and steamed up when taking a shower. The renovation rubbish everywhere put a damper on the overall feel of the place. The deadline for the check in was making us stressed as we had to take multiple trains and knew if we missed one, we potentially could not check in to our accommodation. The charge for out of hours check in is heavy. In today’s world, there are many options for self checking in which would work for this property and make a lot of travellers feel less stressed about arriving later.

The employees where nice and friendly. The location is really good and in front of the building there is a public parking space. Also for motorbikes.

There was a lot of noice from the hallway. Every now and then the vending machine made a lot of noice. Also the room wasn't ready when I arrived at the check in time. I wouldn't minded if I had to wait for a little bit. But now I got the key and settled down. And after a while the cleaning lady came to clean the last bits.

This place is very, very new & well appointed w/some local artist's funky marine themed artwork in my good sized room. Though the mini-fridge was small at least they had one-not every place in Italy has one which is hard to understand in our modern times. Location was on a street that had no outlet (a cul de sac) so it was quiet-no traffic. There was a large, very nice supermarket right around the corner less than a 5 min. walk away. Not a lot of restaurants right nearby but a few good ones about a 15 min. walk away. Also the location was good for the ferry to Cinque Terre for my day trip there-about a 15 min. walk as well. Finally, I had no issues w/the wifi which is always a good thing these days.

The heat didn't work-not sure why-but not a big deal since it was mid-April so I didn't really need it though it was a bit cold overnight. The only really strange thing is that the bathroom had NO towel racks at all-WTH?

They moved us to a different location before arriving because there was a problem with the bathroom. The new location was at 17 min walking from the train station but I think it was better than the hotel. It was a big room with private bathroom and near to the center. The room was perfect for two people even 3. The host is very communicative!

They did not gave us shampoo only soap.

A big spacious room - and it's very clean! There was a balcony in my room, and a small fridge, and a vending machine in the hall. Good location, friendly staff, very good value for money overall!

There's a vending machine with snacks and coffee in the hall - but there's no kitchenette or cafe in the hotel, and no kettle in the room.

The facility was very decent and reliable. Its cleanliness and facilities were extremely good. We stayed with our child and were very comfortable. The rooms are quite large. We liked the design very much, we felt like we woke up in an art gallery. The location is very good, within walking distance to the center. The employees are very nice and help with any problems. We liked it very much. Thank you

On a quiet street, windows had electric shutters so the room was so dark at night! Comfortable and very clean. It was a 20 mins walk from la spezia Centrale station, and about a 8 mins walk from the cinque terre boat cruise port!

The bed was comfy, but it was 2 single mattresses pushed together which did slide around a bit
