Hotel Beatrice

Travelling from Venice and we arrived in Florence for three nights. The hotel is on the second floor of its building and is accessed by stairs and a small Italian style elevator. Constantino was our friendly host and made us feel extremely welcome. He was an abundant source of local knowledge and helped make our stay extremely pleasant visiting many attractions. The room we had was well maintained and clean and our room had some traditional Italian Firenze style wallpaper in it. Beds were firm and we slept well although there is some early morning noise which is inevitable when being located in the city close to the railway station. There are plenty of food options nearby and many of Florence's sights are a short walk away. We walked to Galleria dell Accademia, the leather markets, Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi Gallery easily. Breakfast was available, but not an option for us as we enjoyed the many cafes and supermarket around the hotel. This was great for walking lunches and fruit. Will definitely stay here the next time in Florence

We liked the booking and checkin process, the location near the SMN train station, markets and tourist sites and especially the friendliness of the staff. The room was large, with high ceilings, the bed linen was clean and crisp. I had a great night’s sleep in a comfortable bed. Thank you Danielle!

We stayed 1 night in december and the location is convenience, few minutes of walk to main train station Firenze Santa Maria Novella. Staff was really helpful, help us with the luggage and also gave good advice on how to get around Florence.

Room a bit cold at night, maybe the heater not strong enough. But still bearable, after all we stayed during winter.

we love that the owner himself and his sons personally meet the guests. They ensured our comfort. Questions were answered and addressed. Accommodation for limited mobility were done with graciousness. Will definitely come back and refer to families and friends.

This hotel is wonderful and very, very comfortable. It is close to the train station and you can walk everywhere. They offered a delicious breakfast. We stayed two days and enjoyed our visit. This place will not disappoint. The owner is amazing and is always ready to help. We had a lovely time and will return whenever we are back in Florence. Thank you!

Ideally located close to the railway station and the tram but on a quiet street. The room was large and the bed was comfortable, it was very clean. There is a lift up to the second floor which is where the hotel is located and it is a lovely old style cage lift which was cute. The owner was very friendly.

leaving the key when going out- having to ring to get in. breakfast was very limited- fresh bread would have been a treat

The hotel was fantastic! The owner and his son were just so friendly and made me feel like I was his house guest! Great place and right next to the main train station! Would stay there again no question!

Amazing location, close to the train station. Staff was very friendly, helped us to find the better way to discover the city. Gave us a map, with all the monuments and helped us to find the better way to optimize the trip.

Charming, quaint, authentic, characterful, comfortable. Like staying at your favorite aunt's house. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent location right near main train station and walking distance to everything. Host was so accommodating. Breakfast was good.
