Nicest hostel so far. Nicest lounging area, nicest bed arrangements, nicest storage. As well as being practically next to a bunch of attractions this is a great place to stay.

Some nitpicking. Exteremely flat pillow. Shower curtain had specks of dirt that can become mold but nothing that'll kill you right now. Just a Bologna thing in general when they say check in time is 12-7 there is a gap between 2-4 where you can't check in.

The location is great, you are in the center of Bologna and you can reach easily points of interest. It was overall clean, but maybe there are few bathrooms for that many people.

The sheets and the towel were old (but clean), one shower (near the 8 bedroom) had a very hard knob. Also my bed was a bit hard for me, in any case I don't expect to have a good sleep in an hostel so it was ok.

I had a pleasant stay at Il Castello. The location was superb as it was a two-minute walk from the Piazza Maggiore and close to shops, restaurants, and all major attractions of the city. The bed in the shared room was comfortable, although it would be appreciated if there were shelves by the bed to put your personal items. There wasn't any personal lockers so I had to leave my stuff out in the open. On the other hand, the air conditioning was much appreciated during the sultry summer nights of Bologna. Furthermore, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Overall, it was a good value hostel stay.

The bathroom could have been kept cleaner at night, but it's a rather minor detail and concerns the guests more than the staff. It would have also been great if it were possible to leave luggage in the reception before check-in or after check-out, but it was not too big of a problem as there is a left luggage facility around the corner from the hostel.

Loved how close it was to centrum, could walk to anywhere and super easy to find. The staff where nice and the place looked good.

There was no kitchen wich was a little disappointing

The building was wery nice, and it was so central that I could walk to basically anywhere I wanted 😊 and there was enough bathrooms.

There was no kitchen atm, but I think that was just because of renovation

very close to everything. Bologna’s attractions are within walking distance. I even came back to the hostel several times in one day,

smelled really bad but I think it was not because it’s not clean. there was one person before me and I think it’s his. the smell’s gone when I came back. in general the place is super clean. it is a bit expensive. if there are the same level accommodations with 20€~30€, then they will go there absolutely.

Very clean room, only 3 beds in the room it's really cozy and cool. Toilets are also clean, there is a bidet! It is very quite there and the place is really convenient. There are restaurants, shops, supermarkets nearby the hostel.

Unfortunately, there were no towels provided. The reception works only to 7 p.m., it's inconvenient. And the worst thing is bedbugs...

The location was great, and the woman checking me in was very nice and clear with instructions. The price was fantastic

Showers had bad water pressure/low temperature. It was a hostel, so how nice your room stay is very contingent on your roommates.

Super clean. Reception was great. Very central but still quiet at night. Clean common space.

I couldn’t figure out how to use one of the showers, but I’m sure I could have asked for help
