Westport Coast Hotel

Breakfast options were very good, not just the usual "full Irish breakfast" options (although they are there). It was nice to have an omelet option :-) The bed room (harbour view), was great, although somewhat noisy with the windows open (to be expected as there is an outdoor part to the bar/restaurant at the front of the hotel). The rooms are very comfortable and very spacious. The TV has a linking option so you can share from your phone which was really handy as Irish TV channels are awful :-) I had room service a couple of times and the food was great and dropped up with 15 minutes or so. The staff were all really helpful and attentive. I have visited Westport a few times now and I would definitely consider staying here again.

The only thing I would put in the "didn't like section" is that parking is limited at the back of the hotel for the number of rooms available and getting in can be quite tight if you have a larger car. However there is an overflow carpark only a 2 minute walk away so this really isn't a big issue.

The location is wonderful. The staff were really friendly and capable. We ate at the hotel from the bar menu both nights and were pleased with the food. The pool and Spa are clean and modern, with friendly staff and were not very busy - I had the pool to myself a couple of times.

Westport Quay is a busy waterfront street with the noise of deliveries through the night. On our second night, we closed the windows and used AC instead, which seemed like a waste, with all the fresh air of the Atlantic, but it meant we slept better and were not woken by bear barrels being unloaded. T When booking it looked like there were no ecar chargers - but there are. This should be updated on the hotel website if it isn't already.

I stayed at the Westport Coast Hotel with my husband and two small children. It exceeded my expectations. While it is not located in the centre of Westport town, its location is ideal for those who are happy to escape the hectic pace of the town. There are shops and restaurants around the hotel. We had breakfast in the hotel each morning and both the staff and food were exceptional. We had dinner there on two occasions. The menu is varied and caters for everyone. The food was delicious on both evenings. The swimming pool is a fantastic addition to have. The small pool area for the kids is a lovely touch. Overall I was really impressed by our stay here. From check in to check out every staff member was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it to couples and families looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Westport.

There is very limited on site parking but there is a free car park within walking distance.

Exceptional from start to finish. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly a lovely atmosphere in the hotel. The staff at the bar were brilliant really good cocktails. We were so happy with the pool and had it to ourselves along with the thermal suite. No children allowed in the pool between 12 and 5 which was fantastic as we were alone. We will definitely return. Would recommend the towers restaurant across the road and Cronin's shebeen for food. We didn't eat in the hotel but other guests said it was delicious. Breakfast in the morning is cooked to order and there is a great selection and of a high standard. The setting of the hotel is stunning along the quays and views of croagh Patrick. Plenty of beautiful walks can't wait to return!

Stayed for one night and the moment we walked in the door .we felt so welcome..very cosy reception area . friendly staff ..our room was spotless and tastefully decorated..very comfortable bed..we had a meal in the bar and the service was prompt.food was delicious...we went for a walk right outside the hotel around the harbour..lovely views ..some nice little places to eat beside the hotel..the breakfast room is on the fourth floor and so relaxing and again very tasteful decor with lovely views overlooking the harbour...it was so nice to sit and have breakfast cooked to order .and brought to your table .only continental is buffet.this is a big plus in my opinion to have your hot breakfast served to your table.and it was so nice.. banana bread was delicious.well done 👍👍 overall a fantastic experience..

Only complaint was view outside our room 314...of the car park..

Breakfast best EVER! Breakfast staff so incredibly lovely. Room perfect. Furniture & paintings tasteful. Curtains kept out light. Wood panelling was lovely and probably helped to make room totally sound proof. Spotlessly clean. Bed very comfortable. Just amazing. Best hotel room I have ever stayed in.

The only small issue were the pillows. Maybe I was just unlucky because EVERYTHING else was fantastic & I intend to be back as soon as I can with a group of friends.

Great location, great bar, room was lovely. Really comfy bed, great TV, bathroom nice and modern. Receptionists were very helpful and friendly at all times. The Spa Veda is amazing! Also the lobby is a gorgeous, cozy environment to relax in.

The view in our room was a bit disappointing… the hotel didn’t seem to be fully booked so I’m sure a decent view, and room with a bath would have been possible. Breakfast could also have been better, great options, but not executed very well. The “Sourdough” was a burnt ciabatta with no butter, and the poached eggs were overdone.

Staff were lovely and helpful. A massage in the spa was very good - provided by Paulo. Live music in bar which was very good. Location v pretty and close to the Point for a swim. Scenery amazing around.

Breakfast a bit dried up as we were at end of the time slot. The thermal suite is nice but apart from a 12 to 5 in the day there are children in the pool - I felt the pool/thermal area were neither pool nor thermal spa area. It was the Easter holidays. Only a minor irritation - overall good value.

There was over all nothing wrong with the hotel, just small things that didn’t make it a €300/night hotel… Location was perfect for what we wanted, room was a fair size and also offered the promised view…

We arrived at 4pm to make sure we are well past the 3pm earliest checkin time, to find out we can’t checkin because the room isn’t ready. It’s also the small things like having to pay extra for a smoked salmon breakfast, cheap Tesco bread, coffee that tastes like tarmac and to top it the all Irish breakfast wasn’t freshly cooked. Guy’s you should do better for the prices you are charging.

Beautiful hotel with excellent facilities, clean room with everything needed. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Breakfast in the 4th floor restaurant looking out over the coast really nice finish. Location outside the busy town which is nice for the relaxing break away.

Very small / tight carpark to the rear. Wouldn't recommend for anyone with a large saloon etc. Although, they have also complimentary parking beside the pier. Car / taxi is needed for a trip into town as location is a bit outside.
