Komaneka at Bisma Ubud

Very beautiful, quiet and comfortable hotel with spacious rooms, amazing jungle views (yes the photos doesn’t lie) and in a walking distance from everything you would need(food, drinks, shops, museums, trails, nature parks, art exhibits and etc)in Ubud. Extremely attentive, helpful and friendly staff will make your stay memorable and will help you with all your needs. The SPA… most of the SPA’s nowadays play nature sounds through speakers, not at Komaneka! you are literally getting a massage few feet away from the mountain river in the middle of the jungle in open air, the sounds of nature are just out of this world. Highly recommend!

The hotel is conveniently tucked away in the centre of Ubud and has stunning views. The staff are super helpful (special thanks to Mei and Kadek) and accommodated all our needs ranging from restaurant transfer and room changes. Overall, a superb hotel with a great pool, spa facilities overlooking a running river, and excellent location.

Breakfast options could use more variety but not a game breaker.

Jl Bisma has only 2 roads to Jl Monkey Forest so its a 10-15 minute walk to the majority of restaurants and shops.

The best location of any hotel on Bisma road with beautiful views of the rainforest and rice fields, with a path along the river with amazing views of the lush rainforest and many waterfalls getting close to nature. The location is within walking distance to Ubud palace. The facilities and service was outstanding. They also provided a light supper and tea along with daily activities.

The restaurant food and breakfast were not up to international standards. Perhaps they should offer a buffet, but we’re always accomodating if you had a special request or wanted additional food for breakfast. We did not use additional services as they were pricey.

Fabulous location & beautifully situated rooms looking out over a "forest" & rice paddies... One of the finest rooms we have ever stayed in. Bigger than most 2 bed apartments with a wonderful balcony looking out over nature. All fittings yelled quality and you felt that the standards of the overall hotel reflected a premium product. (by the way don't be fooled by the entrance or arrival area - the quality is evident once you cross the threshold!). Food was excellent throughout (please don't charge extra for sparkling water at breakfast). Pool area beautiful & well situated...

Absolutely thrilled to share my incredible experience at Komaneka at Bisma in Ubud. From the moment I arrived, I was swept away by the serene beauty and top-notch facilities. The staff's genuine warmth and attention to every detail made me feel truly pampered, and I can't stop raving about the stunning infinity pool and the tastefully designed rooms that perfectly captured the essence of Bali. With its ideal location, this hidden gem strikes the perfect balance between peaceful seclusion and easy access to Ubud's charms. If you're looking for a blend of luxury, culture, and relaxation, Komaneka at Bisma is an absolute must-visit.

While my stay at Komaneka at Bisma was truly exceptional in many aspects, I found the food choices to be somewhat limited and not entirely to my taste. Despite this, the overall experience, including the impeccable facilities and outstanding service, more than made up for any culinary preferences.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in - we upgraded to the one bedroom villa with the private pool and the views were amazing. The villa was massive and super clean - definitely would recommend upgrading if you can! The location is good, one street across from the busy Ubud streets so a short walk (10-15 min) to get there, but still some good places on the same road if you wanted to stay close by. The hotel also runs a shuttle if that walk would be too much. The staff could not do enough for us - extremely quick to respond to any requests we had, helped us with recommendations nearby, trips, brought breakfast to our room everyday! The food is good - good selection for breakfast and lunch, and a nice ‘tea time’ touch daily with different snacks everyday!

It was our 2nd time staying this hotel and we came back for honeymoon. The service by Komaneka Bisma staff was really good, all of them were very friendly. They surprised us assign the same room as our previous stay, and make very cute honeymoon decorations + cake in the room! The breakfast was so delicious with beautiful rice terrace + swimming pool view. Staying here is just super relaxing and like “oasis”. We enjoyed staying this hotel and would like to repeat when we come back to Ubud.

Nothing much. If I had to say, there is quite some distance from hotel to the Main Street in Ubud, so you have to walk for 10-15mits to get there.

Spectacular hotel. Beautiful surroundings, just a walk round the hotel was a pleasure. The staff was fanastic, always helpful nothing too small. Very close to the monkey forest (15-20 minute walk) and about a 20 minute walk (as its a flat walk) to the centre of Ubud and the temples.

The towels were not always the cleanest still usable but had stains on. in reality, that needed to be taken out of circulation and new ones used. There isn't a usable bar to sit at if you wanted a drink after a long activity or walk before going to your room. No milk with the coffee machine. I know a small thing but annoying when you just want a coffee. Even if it was yhe long life stuff would have been helpful.

All of the staff are attentive, sweet and super friendly. I've been to Bali many times and stay in many different hotel, the service by Komaneka Bisma is the best so far. The private swimming pool in the one bedroom villa is the biggest I've ever seen in Bali, and the main infinity pool is the longest one. Yes the hotel is a bit old, but they maintained very well, I can see the new painting. The breakfast is tasty and free afternoon tea every day with delicious Balinese snack. The a la carte menu is yummy have to give it a try. If you're a coffee lover, you'll be very happy to see they provide unlimited coffee capsule in the room (yes there's a capsule coffee machine in every room) The location is perfect for me, some nice restaurant and spa are close by just in walking distance. Not in the ubud center but still in the walking distance like 20mins. Recommend to rent a bike, easy to explore around.
