Good location near the airport, harbour, market Friendly staff.

Quite a small selection on the dinner menu in restaurant, two of five dishes were not available for the dinner.

The staff was very kind and helpful. Even some of our unexpected requests were fulfilled in a proficient way. We liked the rooms and the breakfast too as well as the a la carte dinner. The bar area is cozy too. For us the most useful property of the venue is the relatively close location between the Airport and the Maria, what is also it's disadvantage.

The surrounding and neighborhood is not the nicest, shopping possibilities are rather far away. We consider the location is OK if you are seeking a calm place to stay between the airport and Marina, but the location is sub-optimal for sightseeing. Price of the alcoholic is surprisingly high whereas the variety of available beverages is unexpectedly poor.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Perfect for layover before/after the islands. There’s been some mixed reviews of this place, so we were very pleasantly surprised. I think those negative reviews were uncalled for considering we are in west Papau and for such a reasonable price! Probably the best and most European style hotel in Sorong. Would recommend. Coming from a week long stay in an eco hut in raja Ampat, this place felt like luxury. The beds are comfy, room is clean and air conditioned, good wifi, there’s 24hr room service with good food and 24hr massage services. The massage takes place on your bed (which they do tell you when you make the booking), a sarong is laid out on the bed and the masseuse does climb on your bed. Awkward for the first minute, but they were really good and professional. Decent gym and pool. We had a nice meal for dinner at the restaurant. Breakfast was great! Large selection of food, mostly Indonesian food, and there was an omelette station. Check in and check out we’re flexible and the staff are very helpful!

Would be great to put water in the gym.

Nice modern hotel with very friendly staff and delicious welcome beverage (fresh fruit juice) on arrival. We weren’t sure what to expect while travelling through Sorong and this hotel made us feel very welcome, safe and looked after. The room was simple, clean and comfortable. We ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was good. We had to get up at 5am for an early morning flight and the hotel arranged for early breakfast for us. The kitchen is open 24 hours, which is fantastic for travelling guests. The hotel staff helped us arrange a taxi to the airport in the morning. We would absolutely stay here again.

The conditioner was empty and the TV didn’t have any movie channels. This wasn’t really that much of an issue as we were only staying one night.

They pet us check-in at 12 which was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The a la carte menu for dinner is good and the food was great but breakfast is a little less good. It's hard to cater for everyone I know and there is heaps of food but a lot of the hot food wasn't hot and there is no heirachy for the cooled food. I ordered pancakes three times before I got them. They told me to sit down and they would bring them but someone else would go out and ask and they would give the pancakes to them. It's not anything critical but 40 mins to get 2 very small pancakes (and that's all they would give you) was frustrating.

Big international breakfast buffet, staff speak fluent English

Grab taxis are not authorized to pick-up at the property. The massage service is provided by an external agency which can only be paid for in local currency (no credit card), the massage takes place on the bed in the room and not on massage beds: in addition to being very uncomfortable, not very relaxing, the oil greases all the blankets and the masseuses climb barefoot on the pillows and all over the bed. The masseuses smelled very much of cigarette smoke. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE

During our stay the pool was under maintanace, we claimed it as we travel with a baby and took the hotel because of the pool. immedetely the manager came to us offering us a discount and free dinner in their restaurant. Their action and approach were exactly this what one expects in such moment, friendly, good offer, no excuses or discussion. The dinner we took was actually more expensive than one night fare (we stayed 2 nights) we asked if we should pay something from our side but they refused and advised its all on them. the Room was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean. The breakfast was very good.

There are not many options for comfortable western style accommodation in Sorong and this place does the job. Most people are in transit for tours and liveaboards. They cater for this with breakfast from 5.30am and rooms are often available early too. Booked a massage to kill some time - there really isn't much to do in Sorong. Masseuse came to our room and treatment was very pleasant.

Pool area disappointing. Bathrooms small and tiles rather slippery when wet.

Unbelievable variety/options at breakfast. Look for fresh egg dishes outside on the patio; we missed it the first morning. Dinner meals were relatively small portions but quite filling and VERY tasteful. Front desk staff wore big smiles and proved helpful for all our needs. The fact that when rooms were empty and cleaned we didn't have to wait until the 2 p.m. check in. They got us to a room early which was a blessing after flying for the previous 25 hours.

If you just came from any ecohut in Raja Ampat, this place feels like heaven, just because it has a hot shower, a toilet that flushes and good internet. If you just came from Bali this hotel feels like a bad cost-benefit. The hotel is too pricy for what to offer.

They are very uptight about taking a Grab from the hotel. But you can just walk a bit, and then you can take a grab. We wanted a late check-out, since we had to leave at 9PM, but had to pay for a whole other night
