ASTON Manado Hotel

We have stayed at this hotel twice. I recommend everyone who comes to Manado to stay here. I had a big problem: I forgot my mobile phone at the Jakarta airport and the staff of the Aston Hotel helped me to contact the offices and the airport staff, and finally my mobile phone arrived at the Manado airport! Unbelievable! The Hotel staff, whom I thank wholeheartedly, especially Marshella and Jendri and Mitha helped me so much, they were friendly, helpful and very competent: for me they deserve 10 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟! Without their help and their phone calls and translations I would have lost my mobile phone... forever! The kitchen staff are also fantastic, friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant is really great! Thanks to Andhika, Sherina and Tasya and all the other people witch I don' t know the name😞 I recommend it to everyone and especially the gado-gado! The Holtel Aston is very clean and very well equipped, in short, whoever stays in Sulawesi is still in paradise but better to start with Aston Hotel! Thank you all♥️, Antonella and Elmar

Everything ok

Check in/out was smoothly. Easy communication through reception for any case. Mitha is a great person and knowledgeable. She upgraded my room straight away. Thank you.

It was a 3 night stay in total. Last night no coffee or tea refills. Housekeeping was slow to respond my complaint. Finally settled by reception. The aircon was a bit noisy. Near earplugs to reduced. Seems the exhaust isn't working well too. Those minor problems that I can solve. Overall good and will stay again in future.

I felt very welcomed and comfortable ! The team and manager were fabulous. I came here 3 times, as a place to relax and re-charge between Bunaken, Tangkoko and Tumbak. Clean and comfortable room. If I come back to Manado I will come back.

I ate most of the time either buffet or a la carte. Unfortunately most of the time I feel the food was not so fresh. Depending on the items. It was random. Otherwise you could always find fresher items since there are different dishes you can choose from. And also the fact that the balcony don't open. :/ But otherwise nice stay in Manado

Simply fabulous staff - each and every one of them cheerful, friendly and professional. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms, most with great views. Separation by floors of smoking and non-smoking rooms works very well. They provide large water dispensers on each floor, rather than individual plastic bottles in each room - I really appreciate that commitment to sustainability.

Rooms smell like cigarettes. We were supposed to be in a no-smoking room, but it smelled so bad that we needed to change the room. The new one didn’t smell that bad at first (because the staff had just sprayed some parfume there) but the scent disappeared quite fast and it smelled like cigarettes again. Unfortunately cigarette smell is a total no-go for us no smokers because the headache ruins the whole day :(

Affordable and really good value for money. Strategic location at the city centre. Great food variety at the breakfast and lunch buffet. Nice lounge with live music. Also appreciate the hotel's efforts to be environmental friendly by providing reusable water jugs instead of plastic water bottles in the rooms.

Restaurant's cleanliness can be improved. I noticed there were quite some fruit flies flying around near the veges and fruits.

I liked the quietness of this hotel. The beds were comfortable and the AC was working well. The bathroom was clean and it provided you with two clean towels and amenities. The shower was good but the water pressure wasn't. I didn't take the breakfast so I don't know about the options. The staffs were friendly. The check-in and check-out process were smooth and contactless. This hotel has gym but I didn't use it.

The room was not carpeted so I had to use slippers because the floor was cold. The wifi was decent (not fast as I expected). The toilet flush button had some issues when I pushed it but it was totally fine.

The staff at Aston Manado are simply wonderful - friendly, professional and welcoming. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Great AC and plenty of hot water. A fundamentally great stay in Manado.

It didn’t bother me, but the building is showing its age - slow drains, flaking paint. Still, I believe the Aston offers fantastic value.

I like everything about the Aston. I think it’s about the best value in Sulawesi - amazing what you get for such a small price. I’ve stayed at many places that cost much more, and that don’t compare with Aston’s friendliness, cleanliness, breakfast, wi-fi, and service. I’m always happy to return there.

The room was great but I tried to have an early night and was disturbed twice by someone fixing water He didn't speak English so I said it was fine and went back to bed then he knocked again to check water. He didn't want to come in as I really was not suitably attired as I was in bed

As above apart from that the hotel is beautiful and meals lovely
