This hotel is one of the few owned by a Balinese family from Kuta what gives a much more authentic feel to it. Hotelrooms are beautifully arranged in traditional Balinese style around a large swimming pool, a large tree, small temple and well kept garden. The rooms are well airconditioned spacious, clean and with fridge and indoor bathroom. There were few mosquitos outside and inside we didn't encounter any. In the back of the property there is a separate building with far more cheaper standard rooms if you are on a tight budget. Location is great, because it is a peaceful oasis in bustling Kuta. Centrally located near a good part of the beach with fun waves but less current than e.g. in Legian. Closeby you find many nice little shops and restaurants. The english speaking staff is very friendly and helpful. As parents it felt really safe and welcome to stay with our kids here.

The breakfast is okay, not great like the hotel itself.

Step out the front and you’re right on Poppies II. So close to Kuta Beach and Beachwalk Shopping Centre and Fat Chows Restaurant right nextdoor! The staff were all so lovely, always smiling and friendly, joking and cheeky even - we miss them all! I was especially touched when housekeeping made a beautiful display on the bed for our 30th wedding anniversary x This was our second stay at Satriya Cottages and we would definitely stay again.

There isn’t really anything we didn’t like - if I had to pick something I’d say the breakfast could be improved but personally I think it was fine.

Beautiful grounds away from the noise and chaos of central Kuta, but in easy reach of shops and eateries. Our room was quite small but comfortable, up two flights of quite steep stairs. WiFi was a bit weak in the bedroom. Staff were just lovely. Brekky was very basic, but the banana pancakes were very good, and my husband's omelette was excellent. I would happily land there again after a late arrival.

There wasn't much not to like. WiFi could be better. And these days we expect charging points and some decent TV channels for times when you just need to veg out for a while.

Super helpful staff. Daughter left phone in taxi contacted company and got the driver phone number. He had it blue bird taxi. We tipped him well and paid for his journey back to the hotel Break fast was nice omelette and pancake makers very nice people . Cleaning staff friendly Reception staff wonderful..so helpful Grass cutting staff very meticulous. Room spacious. We had booked elsewhere for last 3 days went there not as nice and pool bar at the new hotel not open. Cancelled and booked back in to the cottages. Husband loved it there and he hard to please We loved the Bali feel of the grounds trees decor.

Room needs one more bright light bit gloomy . Pool side bar not all staff knew how to make mocktails Pool little hard to get out of needs two rails at kiddie end of deep pool. Expected massage in room would bring table not use the bed and get oil on the sheets....great massage though.

Lovely place to stay in Kuta Bali. 3 minutes walk to Kuta beach. 24h minimarket very close. Beachwalk mall in 5 minutes walk. Great big pool. Comfortable cottage with big bed and little backyard place. Big bathroom with complete amenities. Very clean. Staff is exceptional

Lots of mosquitos. Staff brought mosquito repellent which helped a bit. Limited breakfast choice (probably due to Covid-19 pandemic)

Great location, close to the beach, shopping, great restaurants and massages. Staff and service was excellent, loved the swim up pool bar and cocktails. Low rise accommodation with a traditional Balinese feel. Would not hesitate to return.

Bed was a bit hard for our liking. Breakfast was good, but basic.

great place for a family holiday. swim up bar and great pool. try and stay in the central area close to the pool so convenient. good in-house menu with lots of options if you can’t be bothered leaving hotel. staff were awesome and so helpful always prompt with requests for anything extra you may need. close to everything. would highly recommend this for a family holiday or large groups. definitely recommend a ground floor apartment.

Room was very clean, great aircon and comfy beds, breakfast to suit everyine, staff very friendly and well presented. Location was in Poppies Lane 2 and very close to everything, shops, stalls, massage, atms, money changers resturants, beach, bars etc, also not that far from airport and just around the corner to Beachwalk Shopping Centre.
