HARRIS Hotel Kuta Tuban Bali

Their buffet breakfast was very good. I paid two times as much for Aloft Beachwalk hotel in Kuta with a similar breakfast. The rooms are small, but you do not need a large room for a one or two night stay. They have a swimming pool, that some people use. It looked clean with a lot of greenery around. Less than ten minutes walking - and you are in a shopping mall with a supermarket, restaurants, cafes, etc. It is called Lippo Mall Kuta. You can walk to the airport from the hotel, it is right across the road. You need to turn to the right as you hit the street that goes around the airport, there will be a pedestrian crossing there and a hole in the fence that surrounds the airport. Or you can take their shuttle bus. It goes every hour, however, if you leave around 8-9 am, come early, there will be a lot of people queuing up for the shuttle. When we were there there were more that 20. In cases like that, it will do several runs to take everybody to the airport.

I was looking for an extra chair for my friend at breakfast, because the breakfast hall was full, but this is just a minor thing not to leave this block empty. ) This is very good hotel for its purpose. However, if you want to stay in Kuta for your stay in Bali, you need a hotel upper on the map, as this one is a bit far from the center, and the beach near it does not look attractive at all.

Perfect for an overnight stay if in transit but to be honest I’d stay here on a vacation as well. as a solo traveller I felt safe and cared for (also the private pick up when I landed and free shuttle to airport when I left was incredibly convenient making this transit stress free). everything g you need in one place. as I was only there less than 24 hours it was perfect as I could rest, get a massage, have a lovely meal and excellent wifi to connect with home etc.

can be noisy if people are in the hallway (acoustics are terrible very loud) especially if you are trying to sleep due to long flight etc

Hotel and my room was clean and nice facilities. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Service was great! The location is close to the airport just walking distance. I would recommend this place if you’re just staying in Bali for few days. Worth the price.

Just one thing, I was waiting for the free transport in the airport to the hotel but it never arrived. I would suggest they change it to a contact basis to confirm that the guest will be picked up, but I know that option has a charge. But it was alright because the hotel was just walking distance from the airport. And I had a free transport to airport upon check out. This place is still great!

Hotel room was very clean. Although we didn't have time to use any of the facilities, such as swimming pool/ gym/ spa, it looked high quality like the the rest of the hotel. Great location in terms of food options/ grocery stores/ pharmacy/ sim card shops. I would recommend for short term stay near airport. Overall this hotel suited our needs very well for layover

- Mattress was average and pillows too hard - buffet breakfast subpar for me, lower quality food compared to other 4 star hotels I have stayed at - room only suitable for short stay, it's quite small if you're a couple

I booked this hotel as I was arriving late from a flight, and chose it as it was close to the airport and offered a free shuttle bus to the airport which not all the airport hotels do. It has turned out to be one of the best places I’ve stayed so far in Bali! First of all, thank you to all the staff who were so friendly, pleasant, helpful and kind. All the staff smiled and said hello when I walked passed them. The bright orange airport shuttle arrived on time for the short journey (Nothing to do with the hotel but I was hassled a lot by taxi drivers who wouldn’t leave me alone so I’d recommend waiting inside the airport and checking the time of the shuttle before). The airport staff / security knew about the bus so they were helpful to find the pickup spot. The room was very clean with a nice view onto the pool. It was quiet and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with so many options, both local and and international. The breakfast staff were also delightful - they saw that I liked the Lychees (my favourite) so they gave me some to takeaway. I was planning to head on to other parts of the island, but I was tired and the pool area was nice and quiet, so I stayed there for a few hours the next day. The staff were also accommodating and let me have a late check out. They also helped me with a QR code I needed to scan for my E Sim. I ordered a sushi roll which was also very good. I even thought about staying another night! Thank you very much, great hotel :)

The only small things were that the Wi-Fi wasn’t great in my room, but it worked very quickly everywhere else (I think it might just be the location of my room) so it wasn’t too much of a problem. Also a shower room somewhere would be good to use after check out, in case you have a few hours to kill and want to stay using the pool etc. But these are small things and it was a great stay.

Just a few minutes drive from the airport from where you can grab an hotel shuttle every hour (15 minutes past the hour). You are received by an extremely friendly team and a spotless clean hotel. Beds and rooms are comfortable , have great lighting, tv, room service and also has a spa (which I didn’t get to enjoy but I will next time I come with more time). Breakfast has an expanded selection of local and western food with healthy options that satisfied my special needs. Swimming pool opens at 8am is nice and cold to refresh you from the heat (closes at 8pm and that is good to keep the noise down for the ones that are resting). Highly recommend this place.

Great location next to the airport. Harris provide an hourly shuttle bus which takes no longer than 5 mins. Harris also had a Live screen with flights schedules by reception. 24/hr food ordering if you arrive late. All staff were so friendly and kind and helpful. Everything was clean, food was OK however our last request was kindly met for Mie Goreng as it wasn’t provided on the menu the chef kindly knocked us up Some for our last meal! Shuttle bus guy was awesome, friendly and bubbly! short walk to the beach also, easy enough access into kits via Gojek or taxi. Nice walk into Kuta if you fancy burning off some calories. Would recommend staying here.

Pool closes too early, but I guess it makes sense due to the location of where the pool is situated between the rooms.

The hotel and room were very clean, well provisioned (everthing you need including fridge, safe, hair dryer, complimentary tea/ coffee and slippers), and quiet. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The free airport shuttle (hourly) plus complimentary self-service iced ginger and honey water and fruit infused water in the reception area make going to the airport stress free. The pool area is an oasis of calm and quiet.

A fair distance from Bali's nightlife hotspots and beaches, but for an airport hotel, this is a perfect send-off. Only minor 'issue' (not really an issue) is if you call from the airport, they will tell you to catch a taxi or wait for their shuttle, which can take up to an hour. It is no more than a ten minute walk, but the footpaths are narrow and require a bit of maneuvering. If that doesn't bother you, save the wait and walk as it is probably quicker. I used Google Maps for directions.

The staff was very friendly, the hotel is very well priced from the accommodation to the restaurant, the gift shop, spa and any other service offered. The bed was very comfortable and big. The shuttle service to the airport runs every hour to the hour 24/7 and you can also arrange an ad hoc shuttle on the spot with a small charge of 50k IDR. Overall for a short stay near the airport this is the perfect option with excellent value for money.

The sound insulation is not very good on the doors of the rooms therefore you can easily wake up if someone is being a bit noisy on the corridor. Our A/C was dripping, when mentioned to the reception they offered to send someone to check it immediately though we were checking out a few hours after we noticed so it was not a big problem. Swimming pool area could have more sitting space.

Close to airport with shuttle service. Small details I noticed suggest that they are truly embracing sustainability (and not paying lip service like several other hotels). Breakfast was awesome. Room felt modern and had in-built international plug-sockets in room. Excellent value for money. Didn't get to use but the pool area looked very well designed to sunbathe.

Water delivery system (ie WC, shower, tap, pipes) may need a retrofitting (low water pressure and squeaky etc). Aircon system also seemed dated (i.e. not very efficient at cooling the room).
