Gili Breeze Tropical Bungalows

A short walk from the main strip. What really made this place special is the staff - they greet you like family whenever you leave or return, making you feel at home. Also, when my Roku had trouble connecting to wifi, they provided a streaming device so we could enjoy our sleep music and movies. Many local Warungs (cheap & delicious local restaurants) are nearby, as well as a large convenience store.

Room is wood construction and not sealed, so AC slips out through the cracks. Powerful fan makes up for this for comfort, but my laptop didn't like it and was losing battery quickly.

Well it was a Balinese inspired relaxing place to stay. The staff is what makes The Breeze so spectacularly welcoming. Their attention to. Guests is wonderful. The staff look after guests and make their stay welcoming and comfortable and always smiling and clean the bungalows beautifully and thoroughly The aircon & fan were great. Just a tip that the hot water comes a long way so. Be patient and understanding. ABC and NBC news and Netflix was available in all rooms I can't rate my stay more than 110% commitment which met my needs. I emphatically highly recommend staying at Gili Breeze.

There was absolutely nothing I didn't like or enjoy at Gili Breeze.

We absolutely loved it here!! 🩷 Rooms are big with ample storage We love a rustic vibe when travelling and this was perfect Lovely outdoor bathroom Free coffee, water and juice available all day. AC and fan worked well, mosquito net too. Although there were others staying it sometimes felt we had the place to ourselves, which was a bonus!! The staff are wonderful, Farid in particular was super friendly, accommodating and made us feel at home. We were sad to leave such a lovely place. Absolutely brilliant property and staff. Great little bungalows and a lovely pool outside. The main living area with table and chairs is lovely to sit in and have breakfast/chat. Fresh fruit, coffee and juice every morning and on arrival and breakfast options have Indonesian and western which is great. The banana pancakes and Nasi Goreng was my go to! The staff really make this property what it is, nothing is too big or small for them and they really do make your stay enjoyable, helping to book trips and recommend places to do and always interested in what you’ve been up to. You can rent bikes straight through them. They also came to rescue me when my bike padlock wouldn’t work on the other side of the island! It’s central but set back so is nice and quiet.

No issues apart from the shower would sometimes be cold but did not bother us at all!

Absolutely amazing stay at Gili Breeze! Customer service is always a big thing to me and the staff here did that and so much more! So kind and super accommodating. Always willing to help and recommend good eateries even our booking for fast boat and shuttle to and from Bali. They handled everything and got us the best deals. Our room was cleaned every day and our bar fridge was kept stocked every time we returned home from adventures. Also, get the breakfast! It’s not fancy but it sure is yummy and tastes super home made we loved it so much.

Perfect spot to chill and great price to boot. We were in a group ( ask to get rooms downstairs together) but would also be great for couples or solo guests ( l normally travel solo and would definitely come back here on my own ) The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff did everything to make our stay comfortable and safe and gave us all the tips where to snorkel and eat. They organised us a snorkelling boat trip which was amazing and at a competitive price. The breaky was a bonus and always freshly made. When you get of the boat, l would recommend to get a horse and cart as you can get your bearings too.

That we had to leave

Nice comfortable rooms with air con, fan and flat screen tv. Nothing too flash but we had everything we needed. Lovely swimming pool and small porch with table and chairs. Delicious breakfasts were available every day. Staff were amazing.

They were doing renovations so there was some hammering at times but they tried to keep disruptions to a minimum and when we wanted an afternoon nap they stopped working for us. The property was a bit of a walk to the Main Street but not too far once we knew where we were going.

Comfy and spacious room. Pool area was nice. Staff went above and beyond every day to make you comfortable. Mini bar was very reasonably priced. Booked trip through staff at property. Bikes rented through property. Breakfast available in the room. Great location, off the busy Main Street.

One night, due to change in the season there were insects landing on the bed and floor. Staff were prompt to help and came to the room. Cleared after few rounds of insect spray.

The most impressive aspect of our stay was the impeccable service and professionalism from the staff. Each member went above and beyond to accommodate to all our needs; offering a range of activities such as snorkelling tours and bicycle hire. We were offered alternative travel arrangements to get home when boats were cancelled. Each time we arrived back at our stay we were greeted with friendly smiles and a ‘welcome home’ from all staff members around. Our rooms were cleaned to a high standard each day and delicious breakkie included each morning. The bungalows maintained a tropical and traditional Indonesian feel, only 2 streets away from the main strip.
