Dusit Thani Guam Resort

The location is fantastic and in fact there are two properties. Dusit Thani and Dusit Beach resort. something that booking.com does not elaborate on the app. and you should. also the suite we booked was big but not very well designed more on that later. The food is good, the beach and pool are fantastic. The staff is super Awesome and Friendly and very helpful

Now this is the part I’d like to divide into three things 1. the Room - Mountain view Suite. it was big but poorly designed. The kitchenette was just a waste they could have made the living area much bigger and the bedroom actually felt a little small 2. Tasi Grill - The beach bar had very average cocktails for a hotel that good. I was hoping they would stir up some great martinis but even Mojitos were just average 3. Food Options - I’d expect a hotel of that stature would have 24 hour room service but no. all food even room service was limited to the three restaurants and nothing was available after 9:00 except the Deli that was available till 10:00

Even it is a Thai`s brand. The location was unique and best in the GUAM certainly.

Ice machine was not sufficient for all of the customers.

The view from the room of the sea was beautiful and the hotel location on the beach was great.

The rooms and property looked a bit dated,the bathroom drain was jammed and the water did not drain in the shower room.

The location is very good, as the hotel is located in the center of Tumon area. There are restaurants in and near the hotel.

Elevators are crowded at certain time of day, such as the time guests go and return to/from a restaurant for breakfast, etc.

Facility was decorated beautifully for the holidays. Staff was nice and helpful.

You could hear doors slamming and people talking. Walls are thin.

Our stay with Dusit Thani was absolutely incredible. We stopped over for a few days during our deployment and I didn’t want to leave. We purchased a mountain view room which was lovely and had everything we could have needed. The view was a bit of a let down but to be expected when it’s not a sea view. Our first night was great, we had food in Soi which was absolutely incredible - the staff were lovely and the food was 5 stars. The pool and beach facilities were wonderful and the food we had by the pool was amazing too. Our 2nd night could have made or break our experience due to being in a joining room, with very noisy neighbours which wasn’t great due to the amount we paid for the room. Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked and there were no other options for us. However, the manager on that night, who I believe was called Jack, put us in one of the Presidential Suites and I cannot put into words how grateful we were to be given such a lovely gift and something we will cherish for years to come. We will be coming back in a months time and we will definitely be staying again.

A lot of people from different hotels and randoms would accumulate outside the hotel and use the facilities. This should be policed more.

Very clean hotel and strategically located

I want to be cleared while I am still at the hotel but I was forced to avail of the express checkout because they are telling me that their computer is down for 5days already. Up to now, I do not get any email from them as I still have a pending $200deposit with them which they need to credit back.

I’m a fitness guru and had keen interest on their gym. It offered a variety of cardio and strength training machines. The highlight would be the fantastic view from the 22nd floor. Awesome idea!!

I was expecting a larger bedroom, but the bathroom area had overshadowed that area. I wasn’t into the bathroom sink at all. Not only did it clog up, but the sink nozzle was too low,

The scenery of Tumon from my room was fantastic and I enjoyed the short walk to the beach and potiostioned in downtown, it was easy to get to a lot of places.

I wished I had a balcony and though renovations were complete, I noticed several remnants of renavation work, i.e. holes of prior fixtures and uneven surfaces.

The amenities and location are great! Also love the restaurant and food options.

Did not like that we were bothered twice about noise level when we were not making any noise in our room. Maybe the walls are thin, but irritating to have our evening interrupted in this way.
