Holiday Inn Express - Wiesbaden, an IHG Hotel

Front desk Hotel staff personnel very qualified, and willing to assist you with everything, without compromising. I was treated myself and daughter with the upmost respect from this woman from Syria, clearly an asset to this organization, she’s wonderful

Kinda limited on dinner choices, unless you order out! And, would be nice if you have a microwave in your room, small refrigerator for storage or next day fresh food

Really enjoyed it, eggs were a little dry some morning due to heat setting I suspect

Bar run out of rum Friday 30th June and wasn’t replenish, people switched to Jack Daniels black, two days later they ran out of it as well was not replenished as of when I left. Finally had to switch to beer. Some attendance were not aware of how to make simple drinks, because all were not alcohol drinkers, solution put a basic drink mixing recipe book at your bars so they can read how to make a drink should they need to. 20 Kids / cheerleader as young as 8-10 practicing in the entrance and front parking Lott even after quiet hour and up to as late as midnight they were stomping on the floor practicing up stairs in there rooms. Overall was a really good stay.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Interaction with the kids was outstanding the staff gave out chocolate for Christmas and my kids loved it. The staff greeted you every time you left or came into the hotel. Unfortunately I do not remember all their names but the young lady working night/overnight shift was super friendly she definitely cared and her customer service was outstanding.Breakfast was incredible from different rolls to automated coffee machine. My children love hot chocolate in the mornings and the awesome coffee machine made it just like they like it. Lunchmeat, cheese jams & cereals. Definitely A+. We enjoyed our stay.

Unfortunately the room was too small for 4 ppl. There was no space after two beds and a crib,plus the bathroom didn’t have a window and the humid air was in the room after taking a shower.

- Clean room. I mean sure there are marks on the walls maybe from luggage or something else but in general we felt the room was clean - Air conditioning was functioning well, which was highly appreciated as it was hot (ca. 27C-30C) during the days that we stayed there - Our stay included free breakfast and the options were quite various - The hotel's location is not that far from city center and we could find free parking spot on the street (maybe not during working days as this looks to be an office/business area) - Staff was friendly and willing to help - Free WiFi was also good enough for me to use for work - All in all, definitely a clear recommendation and for us the hotel felt more like a 4-star than a 3-star

Maybe a mini fridge/cooler should be there. We were traveling with a toddler and couldn't store things like yogurt, small fruits for her snacks. I'm sure we could ask the staff to store them somewhere but it would be more convenient to have it in the room. Additionally, the shower drain was somewhat clogged but these are minor annoyances

Fast elevators! Location was good if you wanted to go downtown or just jump on the highway quick. Also very clean rooms and easy to go from your room to the garage.

The breakfast was very disappointing for being a Holiday Inn. The only hot food they had was hard boiled eggs. I would have expected a better Western breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon and sausage and so forth. Meat and cheese selection was very primitive with things you get out of the grocery store and did not have any type of special breakfast foods like smoke salmon, etc.

The breakfast was fantastic and offered a lot of choice for the kids. Especially the pancake machine was a plus for our daughter! The rooms were clean and just as we requested, we got rooms near to each other (just across the hallway)

The location is quite near the city center for Wiesbaden, but it's too far to walk and you need to take a bus. This wouldn't have been a problem, but the road next to the busstop was under construction and it was very difficult to reach this way. The hotel obviously can't help this at all.

The breakfast provided a great selection, it was well maintained and the hotel in general was well maintained by staff ready to help. The room was clean and the air conditioning was a real bonus on a hot day.

Nothing really - to note weirdly located about a 20 minutes walk from the train station away from the centre of the city, more set up for those arriving by car and appears popular with the American military. I don't mind walking so it wasn't too bad however worth bearing in mind should you be doing the same.

The breakfast exceeded our expectations, very valuable for the money.with choices. The air-con is quiet and efficient. The indoor design is modern and soothing. The view seen from our window, lobby, breakfast area, lift are all very nice. Although the family room is compact, the bathroom is spacious. The hotel is situated in a quiet location, free parking can be found near the hotel, however it's not easy to find.

Nothing to complain, much exceeding our expectations regarding to the money we paid.

The pillows, bed and air conditioning in the rooms were perfect as it was a hot balmy night. After a long car trip it was perfect. The trip to the city is very easy from Berlinerstrasse by bus with the 9 euro pass. The access to the hotel couldn't be easier.

The breakfast is average (poor) - in fact the second day we just went to Les Deux Messieurs. I would suggest taking the bus to the market square in Wiesbaden and having brunch there instead. There is no fridge in the room. I left 2 pieces of cheese downstairs with reception. Of course I forgot to bring them away with me.
