Best Western Premier Grand Hotel Russischer Hof

Nearly everything. Great size room, nice bathroom. Just a very short walk to the centre of town 😀 Good Breakfast.

Basically just the Restaurant. We ate in there the first night, it was expensive and not worth the money. Several problems, like they couldn’t cook chips or fried potatoes to go with my Schnitzel . But they gave me some mashed potatoes instead. Some food was cold while some wine was to warm!! strange really as the breakfasts were very good indeed!!

Room was very large and nicely decorated - all new furniture in early 19th century style. Bathroom brand-new as well, clean and spacious. Great location, close to sights although a 15-20 minute walk to the train station. Friendly staff.

Lobby and other public areas look very dated and also deserted - not very inviting as a result. Cleaning staff opened our door at 9 AM, and it wasn't even our departure day - very strange. All in all it felt like a thing from the past that hadn't yet made the transition to modern times.

The location, comfortable beds, excellent restaurant, great linens but most of all the staff. I would especially like to thank Kerstin Grasser and Alina Cucumber who always go above and beyond to make me feel welcome. This was my third stay at your lovely hotel and when we return for my husband’s medical treatments I will book it again. I highly recommend your hotel.

Spacious room and very large, comfortable bed. Facilities to prepare a simple meal. Old fashioned grandeur without being intimidating. Helpful staff. Central location in Weimar but very quiet.

Everything was good about our overnight stay. The only slight issue was that we'd deliberately booked a room with basic kitchen facilities and did have to ask for a supply of crockery and cutlery. It arrived promptly, so not a major problem.

The outlet for electric appliances which I needed to use for my CPAP was located under the bed in such a way that there was not sufficient space to plug the CPAP in. There were ways to solve the problem, but it would be great if some attention was given to the clients' need to plug in their own appliances.

Most hospitable and pleasant personnel. Flexible and accommodating. Interior, exterior and facilities in great shape. Good bedding, sound proof, bathrooms well equipped, curtains darken effectively. Great breakfast. Affordable restaurant with Austrian cuisine. Attractive and reasonably priced wine list. Well managed hotel. Private and public parking available.

Breakfast is excellent but rather pricey. Substantial roadworks on the front side, but rooms on the back not affected. Road access on the back side poses no problems.

Three things stood out for me: the hotel's great central location; its nice, historic rooms; and the very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Thanks.

I have nothing really negative to say about my experience at the hotel. It seemed very quiet, but that might be considered a good thing! There seemed little activity in the cafe, bar and restaurant. Not sure why.

The breakfast room would be so much more pleasant with a little background music! I. The city of Bach, it can’t be that difficult. Rather than having this graveyard silence.

perfect location, wonderful hospitality, great for kids, delicious breakfast. and most of all comfortable. they helped me make a great concert in Weimar. Bravo to the Russischer Hof.
