Holiday Inn Express - Regensburg, an IHG Hotel

The location of the hotel was very good, about a 10-12 minute walk from the main train station and about a 15 minute walk into the old town. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was a good size and we loved having a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea after a day out sightseeing. Also appreciated having tissues in the bathroom - not always the case in hotels. The included breakfast was very good with plenty of variety - the small pastries were excellent.

Nothing really, except an additional couple of hooks on the back of the bathroom door for hanging towels would be good.

The hotel is located in a quiet area. The underground parking lot of the hotel does not fit a car with a rooftop cargo box, its too high (it is necessary to park on the street, but we found a place without any problems, the lady at the reception helped us). The room was surprisingly very spacious, well equipped and there is a kettle and tea in the room. There was quiet, comfortable beds. Breakfast was sufficient, a selection of pastries, hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt, fruit, vegetables, coffee, tea - classics. We rate very positively, the hotel is very clean, but it should be repaired and repainted walls - they are dirty from suitcases, etc. For us the hotel was a nice surprise for a sleepover on a longer trip and we will gladly use its services again.

The breakfast was very rich -according to Holiday Inn Express standards. Our room was at the end of a long corridor, consequently it was quiet. Parking was easy in an underground garage, partly used by the hotel-guests (15 €/day for the guests).

Even the restaurant was quite big, but as the hotel was fully booked (probably), the breakfast was like hell-race on Saturday and Sunday morning a bit after 8 o'clock AM. (Nevertheless the staff did a great job, and practically the catering was continuous). The receptionists "thanks to" the lots of guests were not really friendly.

The room was comfortable for two people, we had a room at the street side but the neighborhood was so quiet we didn't hear a thing. Our room was also close to the elevator and we could hear that either. It was also dark enough (even with outer shades!). And the room was also very clean. Regarding location, the hotel is 10 minutes walk from the central station and some 15 minutes of the city center.

Breakfast was quite simple. Boiled eggs and many other things were out when we got there at 9 am on. Sunday morning and they were not replaced. Going to the Cotidiano just below the hotel would have been a better option.

1, great staff that are always ready to help!!! 2, great location. It takes you only 15 min to walk to downtown. It is next to EDIKA, and 2 other supermarkets. There is a great italian restaurant. You can walk 5 min to go there. The best pizza ever i have found in this planet. 3, comfortable and clean room, 4, good breakfast

1, The room is a little too small for two adults with or without a baby. 2, It would be more thoughtful if the guests can be told directly exactly where they can stop the car to unload the luggage. 3, It would be more thoughtful if a garbage ton for baby's diapers can be put in rooms reserved for guests with a baby. It is actually already very nice that a traveling bed was prepared in the room. Unfortunately our baby is 5 months old and cannot use it.

We were travelling in a group of four, one of us with limited mobility. We had regular rooms booked (since other rooms were not available at the time of booking) and while checking in one of the employees noticed first of all and offered to change one of our regular rooms for the room with facilities for disabled. That really made the stay much more comfortable for everyone and I have to say that the attentiveness and kindness of the staff also helped a lot. Great experience!

Regarding the parking ticket, she confirmed again whether it will not be overpaid the next morning. *The breakfast was rich in variety and all were so delicious. *We could use the elevator from the parking lot to the front desk of the hotel, so it's convenient if we have a lot of luggage.*There are supermarkets and restaurants in the same area. *The rooms are very quiet. *It was conveniently located within walking distance from the center.

There was a lots of rooms and a long walk to the elevator.

Hotel is near city centre, have 3 supermarkets around, hotel is new and modern, have parking garage under hotel.

Breakfast could be better, no fridge in room

Clean, small but cozy, comfortable bed, nice view…We can see the church from the window, it’s really nice when we open the curtains in the morning and see the historicity building… Very good location… We managed to find free parking in the residential area 💪

Breakfast is very simple and crowded, maybe it’s because of the Dult, too many tourists, but understandable, after Covid-19, everyone wants to travel…Plus, we waited for a long time to check in, it would be nice to give out forms beforehand, so the queue can move a little bit faster.

I love how fresh everything was. Breakfast was wonderful daily. Decor and water pressure great. I also loved the smell of all the linens. The sheets were crisp and comfy! Thank you Holiday Inn Express Regensburg! Wonderful hotel!

Nothing. Daily ice in the room or a small fridge would be really nice, but was not a problem with the ice available downstairs
