Hotel Haus Union

Room and bathroom are spacious for a cheap room. The room was clean. Staff was flexible and let us try to check in early just after room was cleaned. Breakfast was good. Ample space in breakfast room. Long breakfast time slot from 6:00-10:00. Dinner at restaurant was also good. Good Value. Free parking in hotel parking lot, visible from hotel rooms at the back. About 20 min walk to new center (Neue Mitte, Westfield Centro) 15 minute walk to old center ("City") 4 minute walk to bus and tram stop. Sub 10 minute tram ride to central station and neu Mitte.

The combination of summer heat, no airco and the cafe/restaurant/biergarten in the inner court facing the windows, was not the coolest or quietest possible. We were still able to get a good night's sleep though. After 23:00 it was quiet.

The location was good for us, about a 10 minute walk to the Centro. Lovely warm room. Pleasant breakfast

Beds were very low down, pillows could do with some filling! We didn't know when when we booked that there was a wedding going on and the noise from the disco was very loud even two floors up. Parking was around the back of the hotel but some spots could be difficult as I saw one car get scrapped. Bar staff could also be a little friendlier as when paying for our drinks she was not very happy that we asked to pay by card.

We had been there “on strike” - not so easy to reach, as before imagined, a lot of trouble by bus//train-journey to the ProWein Düsseldorf We liked the solid house with good gastronomy

We couldn ´t stay the third night, because of an unforeseen earlier return home - So we could not get our money back for the third night because we had been booking by booking.com;=((

Great location to the Turbinenhalle and public transport. Clean and comfortable. Fairly priced. Restaurant available with good quality and good prices "gut und günstig"... Really good option on a Sunday since mostly everything is closed.

This is my second time here and the bad things are: - No shampoo, you have to bring your own - Yoi have to ask reception for the wifi password, tgere is nowhere to see it in the room:

A good sized room friendly gentleman on reception parking was a bit difficult as I was in a lwb van but the gentleman on reception that it would be ok to park on the pavement outside the hotel till 8am the next morning good connection to the auto bahn staff friendly room was clean

Really nice staff - helpful and friendly with good recommendations for the food. Great cheap beer. Decent vegetarian options on menu. Excellent shower, quite comfy beds. Close to motorway so good for breaking a long journey. Very good breakfast buffet.

No fan in room so extremely hot at night during warm spell.

Nice and tidy, well located. The breakfast was good. Room was spacious enough, so was the bathroom. A lot of hangers. City and hotel guides were helpful. Outside window shades

No shampoo in the bathroom, no holder for one either. No hairdrier. At 23:00 there was a party on the premises, with audible noise in the room, but I could fall asleep. The bed mattres was a bit soft, but comfy.

late check-in, no restrictions entering/leaving the hotel at night, friendly staff even not all speaking English but trying to help clean room, quiet place, tasty restaurant food.

everyday same and a bit poor hot food for breakfast staff been trying to clean the room when occupied too early deadline for checkout (11.00 a.m.)

Room was ok. Had everything we needed. Could maybe benefit from updating but no real complaints. Beer garden staff and food were really nice. Good value meals, large portions and very tasty.

Breakfast quite limited on Monday and Tuesday. Noise from parties until late Saturday night. Otherwise nights were very quiet and comfortable
