Great location, good events to meet people, good price. Only 4 showers for all the shared dorms but somehow they were always free.

The room had no window and was just air conditioned. There was no kitchen.

The breakfast was a good price and delicious food. Room accommodations were perfect, location was very close to train station and in a safe area. The private room for 4 was perfect for my friends and I, personal lamps for each of our beds, and outlets with shelves for charging phones. The staff all spoke English and were very friendly and helpful.

Wish we didn’t have to pay for towels, and that the shower had a curtain or something to keep the water from splashing all over the bathroom.

Vey clean rooms, fantastic staff everywhere, lovely guests that I could hang out in the pub or in town. A really good way to make some friends by picking a hostell instead of 4-5 stars hotells when you are 40 like me :). Tasty not overly complicated breakfasts and always something to eat and water available at the hostel :).

I rented the bed last minute and it was very pricey as it was meant for Oktoberfest :). It is not the hotel's fault but my overal impression. Great location however too many suspicios people in the surrounding of it. Did not feel very safe. Even the taxi driver was very pushy.

Perfect location, very close to the main train station and a scenic walk to other key parts of the city. It was all very clean - I had a single room and shared bathroom facilities and these were always very clean and tidy, could not fault. The breakfast was also pretty good for pretty cheap so no qualms there.

One night there was a screaming baby in the room next to me at 2am for about an hour, it was very loud in my room and I actually went to ask if I could be switched to a different room because there was no way I could sleep. Unfortunately all the rooms were full and I couldn't move. Eventually the baby stopped screaming at about 3am.

The staff were very nice and helpful, the beds were very comfortable, and the room was kept clean. The location affords wash access to the train stations and the tram, and is within walking distance of a lot of cool stuff. The bar is nice and lively and a great place to make new friends. The laundry facilities were a nice touch as well.

The showers were a bit frustrating. I understand the need for a timed switch but the shower heads themselves could have been better at water dispersal. However I am pretty picky about my showers, so take that as you will.

It has anything you might need, the beds are comfortable with a nice sink in the dormitory and a charging socket handy. I really appreciated the bathrooms/toilets: well distributed, each floor had several of them, so I almost always found a free one (it's often a drag in hostels as you have to wait in queue). Breakfast was convenient (6.90 for a buffet) with a decent choice of items. Working WiFi connection. There is an happy hour daily 4 to 8pm but I was never around at that time, however it seemed like a nice option. Lockers are available with a security deposit, and there is the possibility to leave your bags in a dedicated storage room after check out. Of course the location is great: just in front of the München Hbf train station and 15 mins walk from Marienplatz. I would definitely recommend it if staying in Munich.

Location was absolutely insane - super convenient and central which made it easy to lug our heavy backpacks from the station. First stayed in a private room which was lovely and then in a 10 bed dorm which was also surprisingly comfortable and had exceptional privacy given the group environment. Staff at reception were lovely and helpful, the place was kitted out with everything you could need and there was always lots happening at the bar which was great! The room to store luggage was ideal, washing machines worked really well and there were plenty of bathrooms. The bar and seating area was lovely and very inviting. Very impressive to have such spacious private rooms and free facilities like soap at all the sinks and in the showers. Lots of lovely friendly and inviting people - was super easy to meet others. Great atmosphere, always bustling and super cool decorations inside. Clearly a very well equip hostel which in a superb location and with all the facilities needed for a comfortable and welcoming stay!!

Everything was really great. If anything the cleanliness of the showers was questionable at times and the soundproofing of the bottom floor rooms was slightly less ideal (could hear everyone coming/going in all of the downstairs rooms and all of the traffic from reception. We had a beautiful aircon in the group room downstairs but no aircon in the private room on level 3 which was quite hot!

looking at the price, the cleaniness, facilities and the helpfulness of the staff was very nice. The bar was cheap with a variety of options and free tea. Beds are comforatble and quite clean, and there was a place above the bed for charging and resting my devices. Clean towels can be provided and there was hair dryer.

the WLAN was slow. The luggage room was rather a storage room than a secured room. The cleaniness of the bathroom was not the best. I shared the bathroom with the other 4 people and the bathroom was only in clean condition once -- the first day where I am there. Afterwards, the floor is always wet due to someone showering and stuffed with floof from clothings and hair from others. Note that there is no product provided for showering or teethpaste.

The experience was exceptional from the moment we walked in. The staff checked us in and we were surprised at all the amenities the Euro Youth Hotel had to offer ! A nice bar, breakfast, a cozy room for socializing. My husband and I had a corner room which was way bigger than we expected! We had two beds, our own personal bathroom, a television... It really exceeded all expectations and I hope to return in the future for Oktoberfest.

The shower valve, when you take a shower there has to be constant on the valve or the water turns off. A regular switch would be choice

Comfortable and clean! Happy with our stay here and very nice to see lots of young people coming and going with the lively bar downstairs. Close enough to walk to the city center in 10-15 minutes and main train station 5 minutes away!

We couldn’t open our window during the days with the construction going on and workers right outside our window. We would have loved having an AC unit in the room as it got very very warm. You also definitely need earplugs for sleeping with the music that travels from the bar downstairs as it stays open late.
