Hotel Engelhorn

The location was fantastic, close to nearby cities of interest like Heidelberg. It was also in a quiet neighbourhood with supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants nearby. The room was very comfortable and had good amenities, including a minibar and air conditioning. The staff were all attentive and friendly. The free cycle rental and gym facilities were particularly excellent.

The wifi was not very good, it was often slow or not connected to the internet. The breakfast was ok, but didn’t have many vegan options.

The room was well equipped (cupboard, table, chairs, double bed) and larger than expected. ThThe bathroom was technically okay, but very small. Breakfast was nice, but their were room was extremely crowded at the time we came.

This is probably because breakfast was offered from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. (on weekends). This time window should be extended. It should be emphasized that everybody from the stuff was super friendly and helpful.

Clean rooms (spend two nights in 2 different rooms), very friendly staff, comfy beds, great breakfast (fresh and lots of variety). Locationwise excellent hotel for spending a night en route to other destinations. City centre of Leimen only a couple mins away with plenty of restaurants

Staff is very friendly and helpful Plenty to choose from for breakfast Public transport is very close to the hotel,tram and bus. Within 20 mins you're in the center of Heidelberg by tram

Unfortunately restaurant was closed for holidays when we stayed there. Our room and balcony was facing south, with temperature of 30c too hot to sit outside

This was the second time we have stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.. The room was excellent, restaurant adjacent, hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here. If travelling to Heidelberg again, will definitely stay here.

Everything was super clean and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent and offered many delicious options. Staff very friendly! Air conditioning!!

It’s the location, on a busy street, and quite noisy. With the balcony facing out to the parking lot, it’s loud there too and not very private.

Overall we have a very plaisant 1-night stopover during our journey back home. Highlights: - Comfortable beds - Well equipped bedroom: AC, armchair, TV, mini fridge, big balcony, mosquito net - Nice bathroom - Free parking - Free WiFi, working decently - Welcome Haribo candies on the bed - Late checkin (until 10.00pm) and good checkout time (until 11.00am)

What could be improved: - The blanket was a bit too thick for summer time; a sheet would have been better

Highly recommend Hotel Engelhorn. Great accommodation, spacious room, newly renovated bathroom, very friendly staff, free parking. Good location with an easy walk to the s-Bahn to Heidelberg. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was big and comfy and also had them added bonus of a balcony. Really good breakfast and super helpful staff. Lots of on-site parking and it's a short walk to the Metro/tram which took a straight into Heidelberg for two euros each

The location of the property was very convenient for the purpose of our stay. The room was spacious and clean.
