Great location and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is in the middle of a lot of restaurants and bars. The windows, when shut, block out all noise; however, since it was very hot when we were there, we wanted to sleep with the windows open. It was noisy. On the plus side, it's minutes away from the famous cathedral, the chocolate museum, wonderful food, and shopping. You really can't ask for a better location. Lastly, the staff is so nice!

We stayed for only one night, so cannot really comment a lot but will share few observations. Great location, close to center. Good wifi. All necessary facilities present, like toiletries, towels, slippers, etc. They also have a lift. I had requested for a cot while making the booking and was very happy to find out that the cot was there.

For my wife, the bed was fine, but for me, it was very uncomfortable. The mattress wasn't really intact, and was somewhat bent from the middle part.

A very centrally located hotel with a restaurant underneath, where breakfast is served, and it's set within one of the older buildings within Cologne. The hotel and restaurant are nicely decorated and the facilities within the room were clean and modern. A very good value hotel, especially considering its location.

Just a small gripe, there could have been a bit more choice at breakfast. But it's only a small gripe, the breakfast overall is good.

I liked that the building had thick walls and very good windows. That kept the room relatively cool despite that there was no airconditioning. The rooms are also very well in keeping the sound out.

The chairs outside are very small for their length (the outer ones) which makes them a bit unstable. Some might find the noise outside annoying when sleeping with windows open.

Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety. Dinner was also excellent and reasonably priced. Great location and walking distance to everything.

No air conditioning but hotel said that will be happening along with renovations over next couple of years. Portable fan was supplied and was sufficient for the weather we had.

Great location Hotel is 1 m walk from a local parking (Parkhaus Heumarkt) We went for the Christmas markets, location couldn't be better, all doable by foot.

At arrival receptioniste kept on saying there was no breakfast included in my booking when there was. Don't know why they didn't know but when I showed that it was definitely included it was okay. Breakfast was quit small, not many varieties. Room was okay but the cleaning was poor, there were still stuff from previous people and my husband got a bedsheet with holes in it. Also there were 2 soapdisplays in the bathroom and each one of them were empty.

The hotel is at one end of the main square, perfect for people watching from a table outside the downstairs restaurant, which serves great Italian food. Staff both in the hotel and the restaurant were very kind to an injured pilgrim and the facilities, like a lift that went down to the restaurant toilets, were great. My room was great for the price, bed was comfy and the bathroom gorgeous. Lots of sightseeing and big city treats around the corner as well. Enjoyed my stay and would stay again!

The room was spacious enough for 2. The shower was great. Then stairs are of a nice design. One can use the elevator though. By car the parking is in front of the hotel underground - superb location in the old city.

As always, for a good night rest an excellent matrass would be welcome - this was not the case; however good enough.

The location was great, many bars and restaurants nearby and along the river. the room was spacious with a large bathroom and looked out over the square.

There was a lot of noise from outside early in the morning. Since there is no aircon it gets hot in the summer, if you shut the windows to keep the noise out. I guess that the price of the central location.

the location is the best part of this hotel! a lot of fun bars and restaurants very closeby! right near the parking garage which was great for us on a roadtrip to park our car safely underground.

no airconditioning or ventilator in the room during the hot summer. because of this and the uncomfortable pillows on the bed, I unfortunately did not sleep well.
