B&B Hotel Heidelberg

Warm welcome, the hosts are always ready to help. You can even have a (good) pizza if you don't want to go to a restaurant and there are vending machines in case the reception is closed. It's a B&B, so don't expect anything fancy or luxurious, but the hotel is recent, very clean and quiet. The room was not that large but functional. The hotel lies only a 10 minutes walk from the main station (if you leave the station by the back entrance). A bit off the city but easy to go to the center and the old town with tram 26 or bus 33 (buy a day ticket, it's cheaper).

Not a real problem since I was traveling alone, but a cupboard instead of a shelf, or a bigger shelf would be great.

The comment is towards the receptionist on duty at night. When pushing the parking button (he was not busy!) just didn’t open so we parked on the street. (cheaper , no complaints there). Enquiring for breakfast-as coming from the business knowing that often hotels have to also pay the extra commission on that so prefer to book on site and give them the money-he said “from 7” so we added breakfast to hear right after payment it was from 8 due to a local national holiday and “you now paid for it”. Upon insisting, turned out a bus group was there so could get breakfast from 7am after all. All and all.. perhaps not his best day but not a nice vibe he gave. Breakfast ladies… our RESPECT as you managed to turn a busload AND all other guests around, never shortage of anything on the overcrowded buffet! And all with a smile. In short.. perfect location.

Fantastic hotel. Did not expect much from a budget hotel and in this location, however i was totally brown away - from a very good receptionist to hotel itself - very clean hotel/room, room quiet, modern, bright, super comfy bed, great shower. Easy comute to center - just at the end of the street tram 26 stop, just few minutes to the old town. Very satisfied.

Nothing to mention. Everything was perfect.

Very clean and new rooms. The soundproofing was good and the general space of the room was enough for 1 person. More than enough towels and 24-hours check-in.

There was some sort of noise from the water pipes in the room, but nothing unbearable. It was a bit hard to get into the main atrium because the entrance door required a code that was not clearly specified.

Room was comfortable and clean and quiet. Could open window and control temperature. Shower room was nice and new, clean and everything worked well. Comfy beds with three singles as requested for myself and two children.

I didn't expect to have to pay extra for parking.

Nice air conditioned rooms, beds were comfortable and showers had good pressure. hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and checking in was easy.

Small rooms, not a lot of floor space but to be expected in a triple room and it was still very good value for money.

As usual for B&B the room was nice and tidy. The price-performance is exceptional for people who just wish to conduct a business travel.

The only thing that is a minor caveat is that in close proximity to the hotel there is only a Burger King open in the evenings.

Room was big enough for a family. There was a double bed and a bunk bed for children. Room was really clean and neat. Location is not far away from old town. There is a paid carpark at hotel. Staff was really friendly and helpful.

Only location is not at old town.It is at new center of Heidelberg.

The breakfast was good & area kept very clean.

I was disappointed with the location as it was quite far from the old town. For some reason I thought it was more convenient to old town. We walked there but had to catch an Uber back

Tram line to city centre is close by.. Ample parking facilities, both on hotel's property and on the road. Receptionist was very helpful.
