the hotel is very central, close to the gay distrikt /Lange Reihe. Its close to the city central station, but in such a way that you wont get distracted by noise.

there was a lot mail correspondence back and forth with the hotel, because I had booked a double room for two person incl breakfast- but at the specification it said a double room for only one person. The hotel eventually agreed that there was a mistake in the booking process and that to persons could stay - but to our surprise, the hotel tehn claimed that I should paid an extra fee for one person for the breakfast. At that point I called booking.com and made a complaint. After that the hotel got in touch with my and offered breakfast and accommodation for two persons - just as I had booked for. That was a very stressful way of starting ones holiday.

The hotel is nice, clean and spacious rooms.

- I’ve been given a twin room even though I booked a double room. Even after saying this, one of the staff said they were fully booked and couldn’t help. - The location…. it’s not really great!!! In fact, after I stayed there I heard and read that is the worst area of Hamburg. Walking from the station on the first day it was a shock to see ‘certain’ people around. However, I got then used to it and try to walk around the other part of St George and been very careful.

We really pleased to have booked this hotel, located in a very coloured area of Hamburg and not so far from the city center - there is a U station nearby, as well as bus station. Rooms were nice, with everything that a traveler needs and breakfast varied and very good. Parking area underground. Staff - nice and friendly.

A minor comment, without affecting the quality of hotel services : maybe to prior inform that the parking fee for hotel guests is not to be paid at the garage parking machine but at the hotel front desk.

Just to let u know If u have upper baggage in the car, then garrage are only 2m so it cant fit ur carr. I had to deal with around 2 hours and didnt find any parking at least 2.1m in order to fit the car inside. The problem is that the reception didnt have any information where I can park in any opened garrage, so I had to go all around so long , but I ended up to unmont the garrage in order to book a garrage. Then one day after we asked to the receptionist where are the places that we have to see, she send us in a are which was not frequented and wasnt worthit to visit. Staff not into the helping mood. Not so satisffied with this stay, cant recomend.

Basically the stay was quite OK. We thought the room is OK for one or two nights. The atmosphere in the hotel and in the room is maybe little 'cold' but not much to complain about beds, cleanliness or space in the room

Hard to find a good priced hotel in the city, where it depends on the area that is located. In this case, my wife at night and even early morning did not feel really comfortable walking outside with the people out in the street. So the location could be better

Junior suite- we needed three beds. We all agreed this was the best hotel we stayed in as part of a rail trip stopping at all countries to Norway. Big comfy beds - even the sofa bed! Large, cool, air conditioned room with a balcony - private, quiet view of the telly tower. Soft slippers and bath robes. Really relaxed after a lovely shower/bath. Bliss after spending a very hot day travelling from Brussels.

We walked from the station which didn’t take long. The journey wasn’t very picturesque but sometimes the area around a station isn’t the smartest.

It is a very lively multi-cultural area. Central Location although too close to the mayhem of the station area. Only a 5/10 minute walk. Very close to restaurants so easy to get a meal in the evening.

Location at the station was a bit of an eye opener, even for a seasoned Londoner, so many homeless out of it people !!. We weren't sure where we were going as we had to walk to the hotel and it was difficult to ask for directions.

The shower in room 202 is bad. The water pressure is too low and the water keeps changing temperature from luke warm to too hot. Very annoying. They need a regridgerator close to the reception, so the receptionist doesn’t have to run around the hole hotel to find two Coke’s. Especially since there is a sign in the reception that advertises different beverages. Otherwise a fine hotel.

The hotel itself was wonderful: clean room and hallways, friendly staff, comfortable, nice sized room and bathroom. Walking distance from the train station. Hotel at a nicer part of the neighborhood, than getting to the hotel from the train station.

The elevators seemed to stop at all the floors that had been requested throughout the day. They can be reset to not stop at each floor each time.

Staff very friendly.

One of the elevators did not work. There was no sign to point out this, was a bit annoying pressing the button, waiting, akward moments with other guests trying to do the same... Only to go to reception and ask how the elevator works for the receptionist to say: "oh, it doesn't work. Just press all the buttons at the same time and the one that works will eventually arrive.''
