B&B Hotel Freiburg-Süd

A small hotel. Excellent location, right on the edge of town and easy access to the main road. Plenty of free parking at the hotel. Small rooms, without closets, with excellent air conditioning. Clean sheets and towels. The cleaning of the rooms is efficient and good, without having to ask. A simple breakfast, with everything you need. It should be noted that the service at the reception is kind and charming, with a desire to help in everything. If the goal is to sleep, breakfast and go on trips - highly recommended!

In one of the rooms, the water flow in the shower was weak and there was no hot water. But, the staff at the reception immediately offered to change rooms.

very clean and modern hotel, right next to a tram station, loads of car parking and a stroll away from the St.Georgen suburb of Freiburg. There are supermarkets across the road. Also we were able to travel with our dog, who was also welcome.

The rooms were a bit small and the beds a little narrow, but this did not really bother me at all. Just the air-conditioning was making funny bubbly noises the second night. Maybe there was a problem with it that day that was probably fixed soon. This was not only in my room.

The hotel is clean, recently renovated, the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. Regrettably, the tram line is temporarily closed due to ongoing work, leaving the bus(es) as the sole mode of transport. However, once you're aware of this, the buses prove punctual, and the hotel is just a mere 50 meters from the nearest bus stop.

Located in a quite region with train and bus station nearby. We have a good view from our window. The room was clean.

Self-check in after 22:00, the system was not very user-friendly. A little bit concern about the safety with password lock. Not a cheap option considering its location and facility. And the pillow was too soft to be comfortable.

Breakfast was delicious. The room was good enough for what we needed. Location was good. Good parking, supermarket super close. Easy to find.

Not enough sockets. We were 3 people in the room everybody wanted to charge their phones and I had to do it in the bathroom. I wish they had at least the USB thing close to the bed.

I liked it in general and stay there quite often (pre pandemic at least). The staff is always nice and supportive

in the bathroom the smell was very bad. due to the siphons of the shower and the bathroom sink. Wit letting some water run it was manageable. And the hangers for jackets were all broken.

Just what we needed. Great value for money. Nice breakfast, perfectly clean throughout and helpful family rooms with bunk beds, air conditioning very welcome.

Location is a bit out of town - which is worth a visit, very pretty. Tram line seems to be under reconstruction so you need to drive into town.

Automatic late night check-in was an issue; managed it but took some time

Definitely good value for money. Excellent staff response at mishap in the room (broken bed light; reason: read comments below...) Good choice when you´re on the move and away for the whole day.

Breakfast; maschine for juice was broken, they failed to provide the beverage the other way. The room was originally obviously intended for one twin bed. When using two separate beds with a gap between, the lights beside beds are too close ant thus disturbing.

Very clean, and a great value for money. The hotel is quite new and the rooms are spacious. It's perfectly located next to the last tram stop, just around 15 minutes to the city center.

In my opinion, the mattresses are too soft (just a personal opinion, as I prefer hard mattresses to rest well). People who like this kind of mattress will enjoy more than me.
