The Domicil Hotel Frankfurt City

We didn't try the breakfast, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay. The room was big enough and the bath tub was nice. Especially the bathroom was good! Enough space and good light. The room was good aswell, beds were comfortable and plus for the sofa and desk. It was also great that there was a minibar for drinks.

As expected the location wasn't great, but it didn't really bother us. The train station was close which was good, but there wasn't really any restaurants closeby. Also it would've been good to inform in advance there's a 50€ deposit when you check in, gladly I had cash with me

A great hotel if you get it for below €50 per night, an okay hotel if above that price. There's nothing bad about the hotel and there's everything you need to make the stay nice.

The area to the south of the hotel is quite bad (full of migrants and homless drug addicts) but that is basically true for anywhere in the area immediately within walking-with-luggage distance of Frankfurt Central Station so the choices are none. The best options for food are the supermarkets and shops at the train station itself, since most of the restaurants around the area are either red light stuff or low quality Muslim take away shops. A good choice for a couple of nights otherwise.

Almost everything is great. The price is definitely a good value, the stuff id one of the most helpful i have seen. The room is a bit tight. My windows looked at a quiet street and i would ask about it i were you. Overall impression is quite nice and even classy for that pay range

The location would be very nice, if not the red light street next by. Literally crowds of junkies and pimps around. I arrived a bit after midnight and was being afraid to walk to the hotel from the main station. Also the minibar at the room wasn't working, even the fridge absent, but i didn't care

The location is very close to the Frankfurt train station. The rooms are well maintained and clean. Wonderful staff.

There is some junkyard behind the hotel which caused disturbed sleep for one day.

(1) Super friendly staffs! They offer me free tea and an early check-in for a review. (2) Very close to the central station (450m). It's easy to go to other places. (3) The room is basic but clean, and the price was good. Recommend for single budget traveler.

(1) There's no air conditioner, so it's a little bit hot. (2) The district is noisy, but it tolerable when the window is closed. (3) The hotel is near the red light district, but I wasn't harassed. Just stay away from strange people will be fine.

I booked a single room for one night. Staff was exceptionally friendly and all-round amazing. Probably one of the comfiest bed and pillow ever - far exceeds the price range. Location allows for easy access to literally everything in the city (2 minutes by foot to the railway station).

The room looks worse than in the photos, but still good value for money. The area outside is sketchy and rather unpleasant with plenty of shady types, but it appears everyone is minding their own... business. I think the hotel sits at the edge of this area (didn't have time to properly look around), so you can avoid the unpleasantness with a couple of minutes of extra walking and still get to all the touristy places.

The staff were very helpful, We were able to do early check in and got advises on nearby free parking locations, restaurants to eat at and places to visit, the location is really good, very close to the central train station (hbf) and there is a huge supermarket nearby.

We were there just for a nigth everything was good. Service super kind, and facilities preatty good. Is really close to the train station, so you can just go walking. I recommend if you want to go for some days.

Everything good with the hotel and reception, but the neighbourhood is a little weird. There were a lot of people living on the street and having drogs, nathing happen to us, but if you want to go to some pleace more chill or in family is not this place.

I was welcomed with a freindly member of staff and my room was up graded at no extra charge. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is approx a 5-10 minute walk to the main station and a small supermarket close by. The only negative side was afew dealers in and around the side streets close to the hotel but hey ho that is often the case near main stations. Over all i felt safe, comfortable and very pleased with the Hotel. I would visit/stay here again.

I always come back to this hotel because it is located close to both the station and the Opera House, and it offers simple but clean and comfortable accommodation for an excellent price as a rule.

You just have to accept that, being near the station, some of streets immediately around this very respectable hotel are the haunts of the down-and-out and the sex trade. I have never felt unsafe - I have just had to refuse the odd offer!
