NH Collection Frankfurt City

It's always smooth and easy to book and stay with NH. We stayed at an NH Hotel in a couple of German cities, and it is always reliably good. Spacious and clean rooms, decent utilities, good windows (so there's no stress even when the room is overlooking a busy street). Overall, we will keep choosing NH for short business trips, whenever possible.

While the rooms are generally clean, I do wish they paid more attention to the bathrooms. It's happened now a couple of times that the shower has had some limescale, or the hardware was a bit loose, or the shower cabin not entirely clean of soap or shampoo (as in - left over from the previous guests). It just takes away from the otherwise great experience at NH, which is a shame.

The hotel is in a prime location in the city center, mere steps away from the vibrant shopping hub of Zeil Street and a short stroll of just 15 minutes to Romer Square. Taxis were readily accessible throughout my stay. Moreover, they graciously accommodated my request for an early check-in and included a delightful complimentary breakfast with a generous selection. The staff members were exceptionally friendly and attentive, delivering outstanding customer service. The lounge area provided a serene atmosphere, complete with amenities such as a pool table that my son thoroughly enjoyed. Traveling from the airport by taxi typically took around 15 minutes at an approximate cost of EUR 40.

I liked the option of room not being cleaned especially since i was staying only for 2 nights. Breakfast was very good, including the staff and timing until 11.00hrs. Check in and check out - great. Location fantastic especially if you wanted to go to the Christmas Market or shopping. Room functionable. Lifts fast enough.

I did not like that i could only use the drink voucher given at the reception (for not having the room cleaned) at the bar and the drink would have come in a glass - all i wanted was a coke!! It would have been better if i was not given any voucher if i could not use it at the reception facility. I work in a hotel myself and am well aware of how much one saves if a room is not serviced!! A bit stingy don't you think?

This was a very comfortable hotel and the room was a very good size for Europe. It was very close to the train station and we were able to walk to the hotel from the station. You were given a free bottle of water each day, which was a bonus. And if you didn't want new towels each day, you were given two free drinks each day. That was an added perk. We were also able to walk to the surrounding neighborhood to do our wash and get to local restaurants.

The breakfast buffet, although expensive, was ok. The food quality was not consistent- for example one day the eggs were cooked and the next day they were very wet. Also, the boiled eggs, were actually soft boiled eggs and that was not really specified, so when I tried to "peel" it I made a mess in my hands...

The location is ideal due to its close proximity to the city centre and shopping street Zeil (mere 3mins walk). The room is modern, equipped with many mirrors and 24hr power plugs which we appreciate. They have the best pillows ever! They are soft, fluffy and just the right amount of firmness. We also like the tea/coffee making facilities with selections of Ronnefeldt tea. Shower has good water pressure and a professional hair dryer (with enough power and options) is offered.

Tables weren't cleaned, there were glass/mug stains and sticky areas. We would have preferred a double bed and comforter rather than 2 single beds put together with 2 individual comforters but this is a common practice in Germany.

The bed was good. Breakfast has good fruits. Location is close to subway station. I was well helped by the employees. Thank you, I am very satisfied! I still love NH.

The bathroom should be renewed since some corners of the ceiling looks old, and so is the sink. The small mirror holder should also be fixed. The hair dryer shold be changed into a newer one since the current one looks old, which gives a bad first impression of this hotel. I am kind of a loyal customer of NH hotel which is why I was surprised that the bath room has a lot to be improved.

Great location, 5 min walk to a major U-bahn and S-bahn lines and 5-10 min walk to shopping and lots of restaurants/cafes. Modern, clean, and quiet room, and the bathroom actually had conditioner, which is a rare treat from hotels. I arrived very early in the morning but was able to check into my room by signing up for the NH rewards program (otherwise, it's 45 EUR.)

The shower door did not seal well, meaning water poured out over the side of the tub, leaving a wet floor every time. The room fan kept automatically shutting off after maybe ten minutes, FYI for those with tinnitus. The gym was comically small for such a large hotel.

I didn't like the room service much, I called to replace the fridge drink since they were already used upon my arrival and it didn't get changed while I was there. the staff at the desk were very nice and apologized once I told them on my check out. AC was a bit week on that warm weekend

The hotel is in the perfect location - close to station that is only a few stops from the airport, a block from the main shopping mall, and a short walk to the old town. The staff were super friendly and check in very smooth. The room is compact and the bathroom a little small, but there was adequate cupboard space, and honestly it's big enough for most people. The bed was comfy, good selection of pillows. It was great to have a kettle, fridge and a really good hairdryer. It was spotlessly clean, and my absolute favourite - an opening window for fresh air.

Not many options for vegetarians in the restaurant - but this is a very minor point. I'm not a fan of a shower in the bathtub, and people with mobility issues would find it difficult.
