INNSiDE by Meliá Bremen

Nicely decorated and spacious (family) rooms with a nice view of the river. Clean enough. Good beds, powerful shower. Tasty breakfast buffet. Right next to a large shopping mall with a lot of (fastfood) restaurants, a trampoline park, a cinema and even a beach (on an island in the river). Plenty of parking space (also free if you park in the public section of the car park) and a short drive from the highway. Funky decor. This hotel is ideal for a stopover and much more inspiring than the average Ibis and the like.

Rooms are not air conditioned and were stuffy even on a relatively cool summer day. You can open the windows but during our stay there was some kind of really loud dance festival going on close by until 5 in the morning, which was a bit annoying. Cleaning could be a bit better. Small problems like dust under the beds, remnants of a bug on the wall. Beds and bathroom were super clean though. The decor and particularly the bathrooms are getting a bit tired (calcium deposits, mirrors start to rust). Staff was friendly but maybe a bit too casual and relaxed for this price point. All minor gripes that keep me from giving a 10/10 score, but nothing that would keep me from coming back though.

We experienced a warm welcome from the staff at the front desk Melia has a signature experience and we truly enjoyed it. The well designed bar and lounge provide a nice space for guests and we had a great time there. Breakfast choices were great and served in an equally nicely designed room that had a home feeling.

I didn't like the design of the bathroom with ceiling to floor glass that let the light into the bedroom. The design is simply not functional: going to the bathroom means everyone else is woken up. This might look good on paper but super annoying in practice.

The rooms are nicely decorated and furnished, modern style, all functional and comfortable. The views over the river are amazing. Breakfast is great and the terrace is fantastic. Big shopping mall right across the street with all sorts of services, playground for kids and nice food court. Tram to the center just 200 m away.

The dinner buffet was very disappointing. Very reduced choice, school/uni cafeteria style (boiled frozen veggies, soggy schnitzels, white rice, green salad, pasta bolognese - that was it). The hotel clearly deserves a better dinning service, in my opinion.

Very nice room, big, bright and nice-looking; Very comfy bed; Mini fridge with complementary soft drinks; Good shower; Nice view; Good storage space for coats and bags; Lovely breakfast room and good breakfast buffet.

Restaurant and bar were closed on arrival day with no prior notification, so no dinner option after long drive; No room service; No information given about location or availability of hotel facilities (fitness etc); Room had coffee maker/capsules but no kettle/tea bags.

The hotel is nicely located by the river in the industrial area, about 15' from the historic city centre by car. There's plenty of free parking space in front of the hotel. If you want to use public transport, there's a tram stop nearby. The rooms are very comfortable and kept clean and breakfast is quite good and varied. Maybe they could offer more fruit. The staff are friendly and helpful. There's a big shopping mall next to the hotel, which is convenient.

It's not something that I didn't like but something I found it wanting: complimentary toiletries (had to buy hair conditioner at the Lidl nearby, since the shampoo/conditioner they have in the room made it very difficult to comb my hair. Just a small thing, really.

room was very big, clean and comfortable, breakfast was nice, sauna was available and completely for ourselves last evening, tram 3 takes you directly to the old town / city center, watchout: the parking in front of hotel (the gated one) costs 9euro/day and although it is not a lot, the entire empty parking for hundreds of cars in front of the hotel (the rest of the parking, non-gated is empty, available & free)

Very helpful and friendly staff, fresh rooms, comfy beds. In the reception there is a nice bar and restaurant (unfortunately not open when we where there on a Sunday). Bremen is also a very beautiful city.

There was colored glass spread all over the parking. I think it was made for decoration purpose but I felt nervous parking my car there.

Nice, clean rooms. Offering connecting rooms for families to the price of "one room". Dog friendly, close to a shopping center. Friendly and service minded staff. Perfect to stay here if you are on the road and want to enjoy a short stop at a modern and nice hotel.

Breakfast could have had a bit more assortments. But an ok breakfast.

The location was great and quite after a busy day. The hotel is very clean, comforable.

The hight price for breakfast and they charge you extra for Hotel parking at the front of the Hotel. I think for such a hotel price should be the parking included in the price.

Excellent sized family rooms. Free mini bar. Coffee machine. Decent family bathroom. Good breakfast. Nice spacious environment. Warm welcome by staff. Easy parking (if expensive).

Rooms very hot - lacked air conditioning (or at least we couldn’t find it).
