AMERON Bonn Hotel Königshof

We had a beautiful view of the Rhein River from our room. Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. Easy short 5 min walk to the Innenstadt - innercity. Located next to a great biergarten on the Rhein. I highly recommend this hotel. There's a playground close by and Ubahn stops within 5 minutes.

Only drawback was hotel restaurant for dinner couldn't take us without a reservation. It was pouring rain and so they had half the number of tables available. There's not much to no like about the Ameron Bonn!

The room was always very well kept. Rooms overlooking the river gives you the best views each day, especially in the mornings and evenings. The beds are very comfortable and the aircon is user friendly. The breakfast buffet is second to none and the staff are extremely helpful and amazing. The resturant sitting area faces the river as well so you get the best views each morning.

The lift can be abit annoying because it has double layers of security. However once you get used to it, you should be okay. Otherwise, the spiral marble staircase is very convenient.

Great hotel. In a very good location, right in the city although in a very calm place right by the river. A free bar included in the room. Very clean & comfortable. Good water pressure in douche, clean bathroom. Parking under the hotel (18eur per 24h, which is quite cheap if you compare to other paid parkings). Although breakfast is quite expensive (around 20-25 EUR per person).

I like the room. The beds were soft enough to have a good sleep. An air conditioner works only when the windows are closed. That was very interesting! The air conditioner worked well (THAT was the most important thing during the summer vacation). The view from the lobby towards the Rhein river was amazing.

I did not check the amenity of the room carefully so I did not notice the absence of a water boiler. It was quite disappointing that I cannot make a cup of tea in the room. Except for that part, I like the other part of the hotel.

Our stay was extremely pleasant!! My expectations were well exceeded, the room was very clean we had no discrepancies whatsoever. The beds were perfect, clean and comfy! The location was very accessible to central activities as far as food and shopping but it was still just far enough to not be interrupted through the night. Staff was exceptionally kind and helpful in every way.

I had a room with a river view which was beautiful. I enjoyed watching the boats. The outside eating area was lovely and relaxing also. Staff were friendly and the food was nice. Location was great next to the river.

I wanted something to eat at 9 and the kitchen was closed which I thought was early. I managed to get some chips and a dessert though but they were expensive.

this hotel is great! we loved our 2 nights here and didn’t want to leave. the room we got was super quiet with partial lake views and beds super comfy. breakfast was huge choices and all delicious, the front desk staff were very helpful, booked a taxi for us and we just enjoyed our walks along the river. would come back definitely

The location for the town is great. Sadly the weather was not good enough to enjoy the super terrace.

The breakfast was very disappointing, so much so that we went out for breakfast. The beds were ok but we booked for two adults and a child but there was no way a child's bed could have been out in the room. In the end we had to pay for an additional single room albeit at a reduced price.

I love the hotel, it is quiet and unpretentious. The location at the banks of the rhine is just wonderful.

Would be nice to have not only coffee but also tea in the room. In the sauna, it would be nice to have sth to drink and the possibility to order from the restaurant. Would lso be great to have the possibility to book a massage.

I almost liked everything about it. It is very clean, room is spacious, comfy Beds, staff are very friendly and very helpful. And the view on the Rheine River is fabulous. Breakfast is great, variety of Bread, cheese,jam, etc. And the outdoor sitting area is Breathtaking viewing the Rheine. I definitely recommend it.
