Central location and value are top characteristics of this property. Beds are not bad at all, yet nothing exceptional, so no USB charging or curtains or any of that, pillows are okay. alright lockers.

Check in experience was not friendly for my specific experience. As soon as I stepped into reception to check-in in the morning I was told I was early, as she assumed my booking. Whereas I actually have booked the night before arrival as I hand a long layover on my way to Berlin. Attitude or hospitality was lacking if not there at all. Other reception staff after that experience were all just fantastic I have to say and super friendly.

The reception was amazing! The staff were great and they helped with everything I needed. This was unlike any other hostel I have been due to the activities that the reception area provided. It was relatively big-sized and had two games, darts and pool. Which, when combined by the great atmosphere of the people you meet there and the helpful and friendly environment that the staff provide, is more than enough. Met plenty of friends, this hotel is a MUST if you're in Berlin!

There wasn't much that I did not like. However it was very obvious that my roommates were high and were smoking in the dorms (however with windows open, which was appreciated). This was not allowed by the hostel but I preferred not to say anything since the roommates were very kind and that wasn't a big problem for me.

The room was great with nice beds and lots of space. I loved seeing a table in the room with chairs around it. Very large lobby with a very high ceiling and lots of space to hang out. The location is great, close to main attractions and the central part of the city. Also a very nice spa place called Liquidrum is around the corner.

The buffet breakfast was okay, however it felt a bit below average for the price asked. Wouldn't have payed the 8 euros everyday if I stayed longer, would have rather found a café somewhere and get just a nice plate even if it meant adding a couple extra euros to the price. Another thing was the TV, it wasn't working and I was really hoping I will be able to watch the Sunday race of the Formula 1 Grand Prix while on this trip, but it didn't happen and that disappointed me a bit.

The reception was absolutely lovely looking. Large spacious and social rooms, plenty of room for luggage around the room. Lots of table space and chairs to sit at. Lockers would probably fit a small suitcase but good to lob valuables/other bags in. Ok nights sleep other than less respectful roommates turning lights on/making noise late and in the early hours.

Rooms weren’t as nice as the reception, was quite old school. The toilets were clearly marked male/female, however the shower rooms weren’t so for instance I would be showering in the same room as men which was a bit uncomfortable. Shower cubicle itself was a bit small and could’ve done with an extra shelf to put dry belongings and a shelf for by the shower to put toiletries. Handryers came on super easy, sounded like a leaf blower and could hear from your room. Maybe my fault that I should’ve looked when I was booking about no age restrictions but it felt like I was in a room with a 70 year old psychopath and 60 year old snoring chainsaw.

This hostel has extraordinary atmosphere! The staff is really friendly and nice, the vommon space is huge and has everything fun to do - even a sparkling water for free! The breakfast is ok and great for meeting other travellers. In this hostel you will not be alone! Even the sound isolating is superb! There was a bar next to our dorm but we did not hear a thing after closing the door. Amazing!

The rooms were quite hot during summer season. The ventilation was also not that good so the air was quite thick in the morning in our dorm. But I think this is but a minor thing. The hostel is very good.

I was in a 4 bed dorm and the room was neat with beds, a coffee table and some cupboards. The common room area was excellent in decor and vibe with plenty of space to chill I used to spend evenings there I did not opt for breakfast but they had egg, bread as options and some drinks in the pantry too Location wise it was nicely connected to bus routes so I had no trouble, in fact couple of sightseeing spots were in walking distance - like checkpoint charlie, jewish museum, bunker

Since I was on 4th floor, there should be better lift connectivity. There was a small lift that can hold 2 people that I took initially and then on 2nd day it was out of order so each time had to take 4 flight of stairs

The bed was quite comfortable, more than I thought it would be. Probably a delusion of mine, but due to a previous bad experience with wooden beds, I always feel like the bed would collapse :D. Separated bathrooms and WCs are a plus, and there are enough of those that the possibility of you waiting for other people to finish is minimal. The main hall's decorations are beautiful. My friend and I had a blast playing billiards and darts, ordered Uber Eats, and got a beer from the bar. For the price, it is an excellent place to crash a few nights while staying near the Berlin center, given that you are okay with the presence of other people sharing a room with you. I know you can't control the roommates you're assigned with, but mine were extremely polite. I have not woken up anytime during the night.

The breakfast buffet is not worth the price, given that Berlin has so many affordable restaurants from various cultures that eating ham, bread, and cheese for breakfast at 9 euros seems like a waste of money.

This unique hostel is located in the west central Berlin with multiple different transport routes to get to it. Built in an old convent with an active church at the front it certainly had a lot of character with high ceilings, wooden floors and little avenues. There is a lovely large open space built in the style of the building - imagine long wooden benches etc. They offer breakfast for an additional fee in the morning which I didn't partake of but I saw lots of others and they looked happy. They also offer pizza and other foods in the evening - but check they are doing this as there was some confusion during my stay, as well as some german beers. The rooms themselves were a good size, with comfy beds, lots of light from windows. No curtains on the beds but it's not something I am bothered about or look for personally. I stayed a few days and found it to be a great base for exploring Berlin. I saw a few people working in a chill sofa area and it was fairly quiet so believe you could do some work or digital nomad activity here comfortably.

There seemed to be some confusion around whether food was available or not. After confirmation that there was I was then told they would only heat up the pizza ovens for large groups and not single guests. This makes sense from a logical point of view but by that point I was hungry and had to go out again to find food so clarifying this communication would be helpful for just everyone being on the same page.

If you walk to this hostel using Google Maps, just be aware that it does not actually take you to the hostel. You need to type in the street name instead and then find the hostel on your own. The location is fine but still a fair walk away from most of the tourist attractions.

1. Great location 2. Wonderful staff

I was so “lucky” to encounter at least 100 high school students while staying here. You can imagine how chaos in the public area. I stayed in a shared bunk bed for my first night and then shifted to a private room for my following nights. I even had some kids knocking my door. I know it’s not the hostel’s fault; however, if you are thinking to stay in the hostel, you might need to consider the risk of having a bunch of kids staying with you at the same time
