HOTEL BERLIN KÖPENICK by Leonardo Hotels

Great breakfast. Good food in the evening. Lovely position opposite the castle next to the river. Has its own small 'beach'. Its quirky in a good way.

Unfortunately the rooms have no tea and coffee facilities, no safe and just a hanging rail for clothes, no wardrobe or draws and no hotel information. Decors a bit 'modern' for our taste, but we are nearly 70! However we soon got used to it.

Perfect breakfast with many salty sweet options Bus stop in front of hotel so going to the city centre of Berlin was quick and easy 🙃 We make reservation late afternoon same day and there was no issues with that 👌🏼

I made a reservation for a double bed, after finding out that in our room there are two single beds I went back to reception and after some time of research hotel staff propose another room to fulfill our demand 👍🏼

Location, away from the busy and noisy Berlin, easy to relax in the terrace with view on the river, restaurants in the old village center of Koepenick are in reach within a 5 minutes walk; modern, young interior, breakfast buffet good value for money; really nice staff :)

For a longer stay self catering equipment such as fridge or water kettle would be good

Comfortable & great location for one who wants to get away from the crowds, but with great access via the tram stop about 75m from the front door. Plus the Kopenick “island” just across the bridge has some great restaurants that host mostly locals rather than tourists.

It’s a pretty long ride from the central train station (although was once you learn to use S9 & M61 or M63)

Nice updated facility. Well kept. What I liked most about this hotel was the very large breakfast buffet.. I think this is honestly the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel abroad or in the US. Every hotel needs to take notes and fix their breakfast buffets to be a reflection of this one. Also loved that this hotel had actual Air conditioning not a ventalation system.

I wish the restaurant was open a little later diring the week.

Having a bath !! 👍 Hair dryer & trendy look of the bedroom & comfy bed. The shelving & hanging area, Sitting in the library area in the reception the huge lampshade👍 being able to leave our bags for a few hours & later checkout was great 👍

The location was just what we wanted , helpful staff .

I was extremely happy with the accommodation in this hotel. The room was spacy and clean. Modern design and all one needs for a stay on a busibess trip. I asked for a room facing the river, which I got and could have the window open the whole night - no disturbance, no noise. Breakfast was also great - variety of choice and very tasty.

The only drawback was not enough spaces in the underground parking - had to park on a reserved space for a beauty parlour where I risked problems (none came, I left at 8:30, I guess it was early anough before anyone could use the reserved parking).

The room was big, spacious, comfortable and well lit. The bed was good. The bathroom had both bath and shower. Köpenick is a nice area, there is a supermarket a short walk away of 5 minutes.

The room was a long walk down the corridor. Also, the location is very difficult to reach from the Berlin major public transport hubs requiring multiple connections. These connections are often disrupted.

why do I like this hotel so much? stayed 15 ish times and have to be here when in Berlin. On a river, quiet neighbourhood away from city centre hustle, with great transport links to city. coolest bar and reception area, great place to chill. young friendly staff, nice breakfast, comfy rooms, could go on…..

Room safes would be good. we had no issues though leaving our stuff while we were out, it was all there when we got back.

Rooms are very well insulated. Good mattresses. Staff very friendly eventhough hospitality suffers from lack of personnel these days. Location at water nice, but Köpenick is a small neighborhood with not that much to do. Public transportation to the city is good though

The hotel needs a face lift as some amenities are a bit worn out. The food was ok, nothing special, but they only offered buffet during our stay, which lacks freshness in most places. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel as we found € 17,00 a bit too hefty
