Hotel Arena Inn - Berlin Mitte

I had read some of the reviews of the hotel and was a little bit apprehensive of booking here for five days but it was ideally located for what I needed to do in Berlin. I got in early and my room was ready and the gentleman on the desk explained the key system The room was clean and tidy if a little worn. It had an excellent shower. Wifi was top notch at 220 mbs on my fifth floor. I asked for an extra pillow and one was waiting for me when I returned to my room that evening. A large sign in reception tells you that breakfast is 7:30-10am. The breakfast is excellent value at €10. What more would you want? Really couldn’t fault anything. It’s not costing me a fortune and is more than adequate for what I needed. No shortage of restaurants and shops in the vicinity as well as transport connections. I think that some of the reviews are a bit unreasonable and when you look at the overall total number of reviews, nearly 80% are positive

Towels, Linen, furniture are serviceable but a little worn at this stage.

A beautiful warm room, a very comfortable bed, closed windows, a warm quilt, a suitable size bathroom that is also warm and encourages you to take a shower in it without fear of getting cold. I liked the hotel's proximity to the market..

The TV was bad unlike last time, the main lighting was insufficient, so there were corners of the room very dark, the insulation of the walls was not enough, I felt as if the rest of the guests were staying with me in the same room. The bathroom door creaks and needs oiling.

easy to reach city center with metro, only couple stops away. easy checkin & helpful management with prompt response to issues.

initially 3rd bed was not comfortable but changed after we asked. there were no kattle or hot water resource, but also not promised. That would have nice if we had one.

The place is clean and the bed is comfortable. The people working there were very nice. The location of the hotel is excellent. I also liked the ease of access to the hotel with a special code.

My only note is that some cold air leaks in through the large windows in the room. The heating was not enough, but the blanket was enough and I fell into a sound sleep. I wish the price was lower I could have spent more nights there and enjoyed Berlin.

The staff is really helpful and friendly. The location provides everything you need within a block, and there is a metro stop right outside the building, which was handy.

The shower and sink had drainage problems. Very slow to drain, probably backed up. We also didn't like the room we got on the first floor because it wasn't private at all unless you closed the curtains all day, which can get gloomy. I'd come back but not on the first floor.

The breakfast was very good, delicious, different coffee options. The hotel location was next to the Ubahn and Sbahn line.

The elevator was no functioning two days, but the receptionist was very kind and helped me with my bags, so on the end, that was not huge problem.

En suite, double bed with balcony and toiletries, TV and USB charging. Right next to monstrasse station which is 50min from airport and 10min from the city centre( brandeberg tor, reichstag building and memorials). Self checkin, and large breakfast and friendly breakfast mistress.

No kettle and tea in room

* Good enough and not expensive, value for money. * Comfortable, clean bed and pillow. * Size of the room and bathroom is Ok * Very close to subway station U6 wedding

* Away from city centre. * Every night, some group of people smokes a lot in front of the room window, terrible smell comes into the room from street, so we couldn't open the window. * No air conditioner in the room, room was quite hot in June.

The room was v clean and the hotel is quite close to the main line metro . And in. Quiet neighbourhood. The staff made my business triip a success as i got the chance to sleep for 2 hours an 11 am checkin and then rush to my business meeting .i had been traveling for 24 hours wo much sleep and it saved my day.. Great breakfast . The lady there is v helpfull.

Everything was v. Good no. Complaints at all

Breakfast was very nice, there was a lot to choose from and also vegetarian / vegan options. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. I arrived late in the evening and I got instructions for self check-in, it went very easily and smoothly.

Location was not very picturesque, but very close to S-bahn so easy for transportation.
