Good Morning + Berlin City East

Location is good. 15 minutes walk from the U-Bahn; less than 10 to tram stations. Couple of supermarkets in front of the hotel and other stuff around too. Might be harder to come back at night with public transport but that’s generally an issue in Berlin it seems. Price was also good and I’d say my room was quite clean apart from stains on the carpet.

Don’t expect anything luxurious. It seems to sleep in a Soviet Union themed hotel. I don’t necessarily say this with a negative connotation but everything is very basic and needs modernisation. For example. There’s no card reader for rooms, it’s simply a literal key that you can leave at reception when you go out. My very negative comment is only about the noise! Not much from the streets when the windows are closed, but from other rooms. Especially when people move hangers in the closet or cleaning is happening is other rooms. Ear plugs should be fine..

we enjoyed the location of the hotel it’s in a nice area close to bus stops and metro,everyone at the reception was super helpful and kind especially Eric (we had and issue with the TV connecting to the internet).Even tho our check out was at 12 the hotel staff allowed us to leave our stuff for a little longer so we can explore more of the city wich honestly made my day.

I wish there was a kettle in the rooms since I got the cold during our stay.As maybe in every hotel the rooms are made out of paper and you can hear whole conversations.

good breakfast buffet. Staff very friendly and we were asked on two occasions whether we were content with the room cleaning service. Someone appears to check on the cleaners frequently.

In room no 313 a bit of paint is peeling off the ceiling. The walls along the hall way / passage between the hotel rooms show significant scrape marks from the housekeeping trolleys. Appears a bit negligent to damage one's own facility. One of the two elevators needs a service/repair - during the 3 days we were there it was repeatedly out of order.

Good location of the hotel, outside of the low emission zone, so you don't need a badge. Good communication with the center. Numerous shops and eateries in the vicinity. The hotel itself is very practical, equipped with what you need. Helpful staff. Rooms clean, bedding and towels also. (some people comment on stains on the carpet - yes, there are, but you can see such animals come, after which it is impossible to clean up normally) SUPER quality / price ratio

Everything was so good to be true. The size of the room was really big, the washroom size was really good, right next to the hotel is the bus stop which takes you to the metro connecting to the entire Berlin city. We specially loved the breakfast, with lots of savoury and sweet options, accompanied by a number of beverages. It is by far one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The staff was kind enough to let us keep our luggage with them for some hours before checking in and after checking out as well.

There's literally nothing to complain.

Very spacious and silent room, all receptionists were very nice, WIFI was working (I have doubt because of the reviews, but I have had no issues with it). Though the walk to the nearest U-bahn is 15 minute, it is well connected and there is alo a tram stop very close to the Hotel.

I liked everything, though if there was at least a vending machine in order to have coffee whenever you need it it would be perfect.

it was really nice how clean and proper it all looked, and the staff were very nice and polite

there’s a lot of people hanging out right outside of the hotel, and they’re drinking which made me and my friend (both female) feel sort of unsafe. There’s is also a long enough distance to the nearest transport that my friend and I didn’t risk coming back when it was already dark out.

Good service, nice room and location. Lovely summer terrace with good service as well. All in all we felt confortable during our stay. There was a bus stop nearby which helped loving around a lot.

Since it was very hot, a fan would have been nice since there is no air condition. The pillows weren't very good.

Friendly staff, very nice stay for the price. It was one of the cheapest options on booking at the time but the cleanliness and comfort were great. The interior might not be modern enough for some, for me this isn't relevant. There was a smart-tv in the room.

We haven't gone to the breakfast buffet, the price to include it when booking was quite high.

It was an excellent stay, location was great, staff were kind and helpful and provided great services.

Due to the heatwave, it would be suggested to provide a fan. The walls were a bit to thin. You could hear every thing both inside between the rooms and the exterior wall to outside.
