Hotel Schnehagen

We arrived late due to a 2 hour cue on the motorway. We asked of it was still possible to eat something. First they showed us our rooms and then taken to the restaurant where we had a good hot meal after 2 days of sandwiches. We were also given a portion of dog food and bowl of water for our dog. The rooms were both big , warm ,clean . Mattresses perfect. Breakfast was of a very good quality and abundant . We will definitely use it again on our next trip to Norway in May.

Super nice and helpful staff. Excellent German-style breakfast. Bilingual tablet with a lot of digital services and information in the room. Large and comfy bed. Relaxing and nice location and restaurant at the hotel, which was very convenient for us

Pretty much everything was perfect. Maybe only one small thing: The sink in the bathroom was a bit too close to the toilet seat.

Even we got delayed because of the weather conditions, we could check-in without any extra fee. My dog was welcome. Everything can be paid by credit card. Price for the dog is reasonable. Breakfast is okay, not many vegan options though.

There was no dinner/restaurant at the place and the room was cold, probably because of the energy prices.

Where is was positioned. The evening staff were excellent

The bed was so far under the roof it was impossible to sit up in bed and relax or read. The staff at breakfast were not as friendly as in the evening

- I appreciated the location in a village and surrounded by a natural environment. - The man who was present for the check-in and the check-out was kind and gave me the information I needed. - The breakfast (although served directly to the table in these times of Covid) was nice and varied. It was good to have a free parking – and I guess that this is a village where you can only arrive if you have a car.

- I thought that it was a little cold in the room and in the bathroom. I tried setting the radiators on the maximum power, but in spite of that, it wasn't very warm. - I would have appreciated if the breakfast had been possible after 10:00 and the check-out after 11:00 (one hour later, maybe). Sometimes, when you are on vacation, you just need some rest and to take it easy. But this is a personal opinion and I know that many people like to get up early.

Staff was very friendly, good atmosphere from the waiter/waitress during dinner and pre dinner drinks. Really good service.

Consistent German country-side breakfast all included. Well presented. Good location and nice and quiet.

Small item, but would have appreciated a bread-toaster at breakfast.

We arrived late in the evening so we didn’t see much of the surroundings, but the next morning we were happily surprised when we saw horses grazing across the street in a beautiful field. We were in the country side yet so close to the “Autobahn”. Very friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms and a good breakfast, served according to the pandemic rules. Another plus was the bar and the restaurant plus the free parking place.We’d definitely like to come back!

Lovely place! We liked a lot. Very good breakfast. Room is big modern and clean. Nice surrounding. We'll come again. Dogs are welcome too fot small price.
