I loved staying in this Bed and Breakfast. Marie and Fred were such kind and helpful hosts. We felt so welcome and were given some great tips about what to do in the area. The house itself is incredible! It's a very old house with so much character. I loved the decorations, gorgeous high ceilings and hard wood floors. The bathroom was big and modern too. The breakfast was delicious with homemade yoghurt, fresh fruit and yummy pastries. They had fresh juice too as well as great latte coffee. There is a big garden behind the house to walk around in and two beautiful dogs that live there too. The owners can keep the dogs away if you want, but because I love dogs they let me have some pats in the mornings:)! We used the sauna on the first night and that was very relaxing. I wish we could have stayed longer.

I loved everything!:) I'd only recommend you'd probably need a car as the property is just out of town, but only a 5-10 minute drive with a car so super close to pop in for restaurants/shops.

Very welcoming Fredrick and Marie were wonderful hosts the place was spotless the bedroom was huge and a lovely ensuite bathroom with an excellent shower the room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable beautiful view to the garden and so cosy we will definitely return again highly recommended if you are travelling south very convenient to the motorway the breakfast was fantastic also homemade yoghurt was delicious and jam with croissants so nice such a beautiful setting the house had lots of character you will love everything about this place.

Everything was perfect

The most welcoming of people in a gorgeous building. Large spacious room with lovely details, a really nice location with very friendly people. We would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet get away in the country side They were also very helpful as to provide dinner for us, as we were arriving on a bank holiday and most were closed. Very tasty meal for a low price.

Very warm welcome by charming hosts. Very grand but homely atmosphere and comfortable room. Excellent position near main route but far enough away to enjoy all the benefits of the open countryside & very quiet. Lovely garden. Excellent, home made breakfast.

Not a lot, but drain cover in shower is in awkward place,( just where you stand), rather than at one end of tray & plug in washbasin a bit tricky.

Marie & Frederick were the most warm and accommodating hosts. The home and grounds are in a peaceful, quiet and beautiful setting. Bellac is a charming town just 10 minutes away with all amenities. We loved our stay and will return soon.

I can't think of anything I would have changed about this stay.

Lovely old house and the owners gave us an exceptionally warm welcome. Breakfast was excellent especially the homemade yogurt. Loved the 2 rescue dogs and also the very majestic cat strutting back and forth. Would stay here again and we recommend it.

Location in a quiet and beautiful area. Breakfast was superb, with local and homemade produce. Parking secure and on the property. Owners were just delightful and made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend and will hopefully return before too long

We were highly pleased and really cannot find anything we disliked

The location was perfect, with plenty of parking within the courtyard. And very private. Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of homemade yogurt fresh figs from the garden.

Nothing at all but owners have two dogs & five cats. We love animals but some people might not, or be allergic.

Everything! From start to finish. All was smooth, tailored made to cater our needs. Beautiful place, peaceful and ultra clean. But what I will remember the most were the friendliness of its hosts. We will definitively come back. Many thanks.
