The location is very very beautiful and it's definitely worth going there for a day or two. The staff at the reception is very nice and the facilities are good. The room was very clean and cosy.
The restaurants are rather expensive for what they serve. One night we ate at the second restaurant in before you enter the chateau, it was expensive and the servers were really slow. It took them 30min to clean the plates from our tables, by the end of the night we were really annoyed. They had enough servers, but they were just inefficient and lazy.

I had a brilliant time... I went to attend a family wedding. Great location, really helpful and attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious. We had dinner in the Bistro Restaurant and breakfast. The quality and choice of food was good, especially breakfast where the choice was extensive. I loved the location of the Bistro, beside the pool with great sunset views. A quiet location with lovely views over surrounding countryside.
Only one slight moan. The first night we stayed in Les Dependences rooms. They were a little dark and not particularly inspiring, particularly given the price. I feel if you have one of these rooms you are paying more for the chateau and what that has to offer. The rooms in the chateau, by contrast, were great.

Lovely chateau and great bedroom (upgrade with a four poster!). We have stayed here before and they are certainly made some great improvements. The meal was fantastic and the chef is absolutely amazing! Well worth a detour.
