Hotel Les Palmiers

Great location, clean room. Fine breakfast. Haven’t tried their dinner. They provide iron and iron board. Only on Tuesdays there is music downstairs so I haven’t experienced any problem during the rest of the days with noise as other people were complaining about in reviews.

No kettle in the room. Could be of use for people like me who drink tea in med purpose. I had to come down for hot water every time. Stuff is not always at reception so sometimes you have to wait for them which is a problem if you are in a rush. They are not always happiest to serve you at least I haven’t seen that warm, full of hospitality smile much. Only a girl who checked me in was on that level.

The location for a start then the foyer and the receptionist was s so friendly. We had a quiet room at the back of the hotel and a nice powerful shower. We had dinner right outside which we never generally do but it was packed up with happy people eating lovely smelling food. So we luckily got a table. My husband had what I would say was the nicest chicken stir fry ...wok du poulet and I had salmon dish which was lovely but I didn't realize it came with toast but it was my fault I ordered it ...still I went away happy as the salmon and the sauce was delicous. Fred the waitress who is more like a family member there at the hotel she told us it is family run for years and you can tell they all work well together. Stayed two nights as we were heading off to San Remo. Would recommend the hotel highly.

The staff was AMAZING! One of the front desk staff, Jennifer, even helped me carry my extremely heavy bags to the room. Truly going above and beyond. The room was clean and worked great for us. The location is ideal. You're super close to all the fun shops and restaurants but not so close that there's noise.

The room is a bit small but we really didn't spend much time in the room. It was perfect for us.

the staff were superb! They helped us as an older couple by taking our suitcases upstairs, and were always very pleasant and sweet. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is right in the old town and just steps away from a number of restaurants and also to the ferry that goes to St Tropez.

The stairs! It is fine if you are reasonably fit, but if you are not in good health or elderly, they can be a struggle.

Fantastic location in San Maxime. Opposite the place you catch the ferry to Saint Tropez. Staff we're friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable and very large. Our room had air-conditioning which was great. Bathroom was big with a large walk in shower.

Our room was on the 3rd floor and the stairs we're quite steep. Not a problem unless you struggle with mobility.

Right in the centre of St Maxime, this perfectly French Hotel had a lovely family feel and yet all the facilities you needed on hand. The staff were always helpful and friendly.

My lack of French but that’s not the hotels fault :-) This really is a great value for money stay

AC could be improved, get very hot in the room. Stairway Carpets leading too rooms should be changed they are very old and need refreshing.

Hôtel Les Palmiers was a perfect stay for us. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful meeting our requests, the restaurant was excellent with great food and a beautiful view of harbour. Saint Maxime such a lovely place to stay.

Location was perfect. Right by the boat that takes you to saint Tropez. Quick ride and boat runs well into the evening. Beaches in area are beautiful and staff soo helpful. Provide towels for the beach for a fully refundable deposit

An elevator ( not present as it is old fashionable hotel , anyhow 2 floors only ( suggest 2nd one for a splendid view of the harbour bay and Marvellous sunset colorful
