It is a lovely old house, beautifully and tasteful renovated. The bedrooms are spacious and well appointed. The breakfast is sumptuous and of very high quality. The location is perfect - it is very peaceful but only a few minutes from the motorway. Four hours from the Tunnel. They recommend a restaurant in the village which doesn't look very promising but which serves excellent, simple food in enormous quantities. There is no choice of wine but it is excellent so who cares. I think the pricing is very fair in the current climate considering the quality of what is offered.

Lovely house in peaceful setting. Nice grounds to walk around or just sit outside and enjoy the ambience. Great breakfast with fresh produce. Comfortable bed and nicely appointed room. Very pleasant and friendly owners/staff.

Gorgeous house extremely comfortable - has everything one could need. Bed was comfy and en suite facilities sparkling clean and with lovely towels and soaps etc. Our host Benoit was charming and efficient beyond the call of duty - we would recommend this charming place to anyone. The surrounding gardens and parkland were magical and very safe for children. They accommodate dogs for a small fee. All in all a wonderful place to stay. We will be returning frequently.

The location was lovely. The couple -owners?- were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very attractive. The breakfast was excellent, as was the impromptu supper prepared for us.
If you don't use a satnav it is very difficult to navigate to find the hotel. Fortunately a telephone call or two got us there eventually. Because of Covid, dinner was not available but our hosts prepared supper trays for us. The room was a little chilly (but the shower was gloriously hot!)

Excellent location for an overnight stop en- route to the south west. Very quiet location away from main road. Comfortable room, very friendly and helpful owner and a great continental breakfast.
For the price and hotel classification the hotel met expectations.

I cannot recommend this gorgeous place highly enough. Very close to the motorway so a great place to break the journey. Beautiful, comfortable rooms in a gorgeous house and grounds. Great breakfast too and the host was delightful. If you are interested in history, the house has a great story, so do ask about it. We will definitely return.
