The property is located in a pretty village and there is the option of eating in a couple of restaurants within easy walking distance. The room we had was very spacious and set in a small courtyard. The breakfast was very nice. We sat with other guests on a long table and the staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was fine, It is also located very close to getting back on the main transport network, even though you would have thought you were in the middle of the countryside. |We had our two dogs with us and they were made very welcome and it is definitely a doggy friendly place.

Unfortunately the owner was called away but he did speak to us on the phone so it wasnt an issue and the other staff looked after us ok. If I was being picky, it would have been nice to have had a fridge in the room and some milk for our coffee.

Lovely set up. Room with garden space to sit in. The room was clean and modern. There was a kettle for use which was a nice bonus. We found the bed on the hard side but that’s down to personal preference. Great location to find food places. The host was very helpful and responded to emails very quickly as we were delayed in arriving. The breakfast was Mediterranean with juices, breads and cheese. With croissants and Jam and a choice of tea.

Absolutely lovely old stone farm with modern comfort. The old stables had been recently converted into comfy and spotlessly clean bedrooms, with outside tables in nice shady patio in front of the bedroom doors. Breakfast in an amazing old barn with vaulted stone ceiling (300 years old). Very nice owner prepared a lovely breakfast with breads, home-made cereal bars, local jams, fresh fruit, yogurt, tea and coffee. Loved the atmosphere, the old stones keeping everything cool, and the calm.

Lovely property with beautiful garden area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking area provided.

I was very disappointed with Le Caylar town, once you have walked up to the castle remains, there is absolutely nothing else! We were lucky to find one restaurant (Italian) open which had no pizzas left! The pasta was not good.

The location is close to the motorway and restaurants but still very quiet and picturesque. Bed was comfortable and we hand a good nights sleep. Vincent was very welcoming and understanding that we were late for check-in. Breakfast was fresh and homemade. Location and building is stunning.

Perfect! Everything about Le Berry du Grand Chemin is perfect! Aurore & Vincent are the most fabulous hosts and have created a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the fabulous village of Le Caylar. Excellent rooms, dog friendly and fantastic homemade food; even creating delicious gluten free crepes for my gluten intolerant partner. Merci! x

Nothing, it’s wonderful

Excellent location just off the autoroute but far enough that there was no traffic noise. Very clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was very good too! Aurore makes her own delicious yoghurt and breakfast bars. There are restaurants within easy walking distance.

Perfect location . Fabulous hosts. Accommodation is converted stables, well appointed clean rooms comfy beds, good showers rooms open out onto a lovely courtyard. Great ambiance.We had a delicious 3 course dinner with wine followed by a continental breakfast in the morning. Perfect we all wished we could have stayed longer.

Very friendly and welcoming host. Delicious home baked brioche and homemade granola bars at breakfast. Along with fresh fruit and yoghurt. Vincent is an excellent baker and took great care of us.

Very friendly hosts who facilitate a pleasant stay. The hotel offers everything you need for a short stopover. The breakfast is excellent.

Keep in mind that the rooms are on the smaller side.
